I've never seen these before. I like them both! Either would be a great surprise. How thoughtful of you!

Thank you for all of the responses. I thought awhile ago I saw the daily passes, but now they are not available. I always find so much to do on sea days, so I don't know if I should buy the weekly pass.
-
Hi, how much is the daily pass? Do you have to reserve before the cruise? Thanks!

I live in NOLA, I'm happy to email you a list of "not to miss" that I send to friends coming here for the first time. Plantations, swamp tours, French quarter, and D-Day museum are definitely top contenders.
Too many great restaurants to list! Happy to send you that email if you'd like.

Hi, thanks for offering some advice. Do you (or anyone else on here) have any ideas on any tours that would allow us to bring our luggage after the cruise? Or any kind of storage place for the day? Our flight home isn't until after 7 pm.
My email is mvaygibson@aol.com. Thank you very much!

Check Carnival's website under excursions. We have taken sightseeing tours from San Juan & Long Beach when we had late flights.
Thank you! I think I did look at that, but will check again.

Hi there! I will be getting off the Carnival Dream in November and my flight isn't until after 7 pm. Would like to do some sightseeing - maybe Hop On/Hop Off bus line. Please share your ideas or experiences. Thank you very much!

I'm also looking for ideas. Our flight isn't until after 7pm. Any ideas on what to do with the luggage?

Great video, looks like you had a wonderful time. Thanks for sharing - I haven't seen or read many reviews out of the west coast. Thank you!

Very Nice! Congratulations!:)

I did a Southern Carribean 8 night out of Ft. Lauderdale on Carnival in Nov 2014. It was one of my favorites.

Enjoying your review :) Thanks for taking the time to share your trip!

Good question ... but hard to answer!
Grand Turk and Aruba for swimming, snorkeling and beach
Aruba for shopping
St Marten for the beautiful scenery
Curacau for the history
Cast-a-way Cay for private island

We stayed there this past Oct 30th. I booked through Trinity Reservations. Got a great rate. Room was very nice. Restaurant right next door. Free breakfast was ok. They had a nice pool, but we didn't have a chance to use it. The shuttle to the port worked out great-about 15-20 minute drive. Getting back to the hotel to get the car was ok-we were told to call them after we got through customs which we did, but we had to wait about 30 minutes for them and it was cold outside. I would stay there again if cruising out of Baltimore.

In Nov '14, we booked through Irie Tours in Curacao. I would recommend them. The were very organized and it was a fun day. We went to a distillery, drove through the city and learned some history, drove through older and newer areas, had time at a beach, and when the tour was over, we still had time to see the floating bridge and do some shopping.
Same cruise in Aruba, we took a taxi to a beach and spent time there and rented a jet ski. Then took the taxi back to town and went shopping near the cruise port. Enjoy your planning and cruise!

Hi, I'm not sure about the Magic but My husband and I were on the Glory a few years ago and we had an interior on deck 8 aft. We didn't pick it-got the guaranteed rate. This was under the aft pool. It wasn't too bad except for when they drained the pool and were doing repairs ( hammering and welding noise). While the pool was being filled, the water running was a little loud too. I don't remember hearing anything else like chairs being moved. It was a great cruise (New England/Canada).

Does the Pride have a "secret" deck?

This past November, we enjoyed all of the playlist shows-Favorite was the 8o's, least favorite was the Beach themed one!
-
Just wondering what your opinions are with these cabins? I just booked on the Pride and picked one that is at the end of a lifeboat and to the left is where the balcony rooms start. I think having fresh air as opposed to the view is a bonus for me (I usually book interiors with my last cruise a porthole which was nice). Any thoughts, suggestions? Thank you!

Very nice! I haven't been to hmc yet, looks beautiful. Sorry to hear about the rude and careless driver.

Spending my 45th birthday in Aruba with my mom and daughter. I went on a jet ski for the very first time that day. I enjoyed the southern carribean cruise on the Freedom very much-one of my favorite cruises

Enjoying your review, I am so happy your Dad was able to go again. Looking forward to hearing more, love the pictures too!

We took a taxi this past Sunday, 11/9. The cost for 3 adults was $15.00 plus tip. We did not reserve ahead of time, there were 5 ships in port and we waited about a 1/2 hour for a taxi. We got to the airport (FLL) around 11 am for our 1:15 pm flight.

Enjoying the review and pictures very much. Thank you! I just got off the Freedom this past Sunday, 11/09, and already miss it!

I haven't been on either of these ships or to Amber Cove. I would take the Western for the ports and the extra day. I was in Belize and Roatan last November and loved both. Happy planning!
