Rather than put your review on this actual forum, could you maybe put it under the Cruise Critic Review section. That way many more people will see it. Thanks.

Thank you Tizzy Jo and Thomsons for doing this. As we all have said the Fillipino crew are lovely warm people and so obliging. My thoughts and prayers are with them all.

Steve are you only talking about Barbados or any Thomson cruise where they always collect cases?
I've only ever sailed home from Palma airport where we pick up our cases from the bus at the airport then check in ourselves when cases are weighed etc.

We have had Monarch aircraft from Edinburgh and a Canadian one returning which is Sun..... something. That one was very spacious and clean. I detest Monarch planes.

I was wondering if these plastic tablecloth clips which Lakeland sell would do too.

I wonder why they have gone back to this rule. Maybe people were abusing it and were taking their own drinks to public places on the ship. But this rule is in line with what most shipping companies enforce.

We prefer open dining as its less rushed and you can saunter down when ready. We do tend to eat early just after its open when its less quiet and can be out beofre the first Broadway show. I'm talking about the Dream in the waiter served Orion. But occasionally we find we are in a hurry but if we mention this to our waiter then they serve meals quicker.

It works fine here. I just clicked onto Sailways link on the first page.

When in Toulon , you MUST go up in the cable car. We bought our tickets from the Tourist Information Office in the centre of town. 6 euros each for a ticket that gave unlimited bus travel for the day, the return trip on the Telepherique, and a trip on a boat around the harbour. Truly incredible value for money. The cable car ride was quite an experience but only took about 10 minutes going up; and a bit less coming back down! There is a small cafe/bar at the top - Le Panoramique, where you can have refreshments and sit down and take in the view. Not only can you look over the city on the seaward side but a short walk around the summit takes you to the north where you can look over a valley full of numerous villages and houses. Well worth the visit. If you are nervous about the ride in the cable car then you need only look inwards during the journeys up and down but you will soon find once you get accustomed to the movement of the cable car that you will want to look out over the mountainside below you.
