Welcome to Royal Caribbean's Dynamic Pricing.
By the way, are you sure you are comparing both prices with or without gratuities, i.e., apples to apples?
Yes, both were compared without gratutities. I have been keeping my eye on it for awhile seeing if it would go greater than a 20% discount.

Yesterday my cruise planner was showing $59.40 Canadian which included a 20% discount. Today my cruise planner shows $55.00 Canadian with NO discount. What the heck?!

We are Canadians and have self disembarked in Ft. lauderdale (holland america) and in Baltimore ( Carnival). However last year we sailed on the Brilliance out of Baltimore and even though we had to present our passports to US custom officials who came on the ship a few days prior to returning to Boston, we were not allowed to self disembark.
We are sailing from Cape Liberty in January on the Anthem and were wondering, based on others experiences, if we would be able to self disembark there?
Thanks in advance.
We are Canadians and self disembarked the Anthem in February of this year.

Thank you. What else can you tell me about your experience reserving one?
We did not end up reserving one because there was absolutely no shade and a bit of a trek to the pool to cool off.

I wonder is Mario gets hit with the bogus water bottle charge after any sailing.
😁 That's a good one!

So are short sleeves not permitted only long sleeves for men? I don't want my husband to run out of shirts he has a tendency to ruin every shirt he wears after a meal so I like to come prepared.
Ha ha, my husband is the same.

The only advantage I can see to booking on board then is if you don't want to purchase the drink package for the entire cruise.

Andante. A small boutique hotel 7 minute walk from La Rambla. Price is very reasonable. We stayed there for 5 nights precruise in early May.

Just got charged $12.36 for mini frig water post cruise, first time for us. We drank our D+ water but never touched the two larger water bottles. Made the call for cc reimbursement and emailed the CEO with our story and the link to this thread. I can't believe this issue is still on going.
Same. We actually never even had larger water bottles in our cabin. Just our 4 small emerald bottles. We also had the drink package which includes bottled water we could get anytime. I am very frustrated about this extra charge added after disembarkation that I now need to sort out once we get home since we are still travelling. Grrrrrrr....

Another little sea pass snag we didn't discover until later was that for some reason, my husband was linked to Crown and Anchor (lowly gold status, but still, you guys) and mine was not. This is ironic because I am the one who has to cajole, coerce, and convince him every time to go on a cruise. I'm the one selling for you, RCCL, and you give HIM the credit? Come on! He's one of those weirdos who would prefer backpacking in a National Park somewhere, eating stew out of a can while sitting in the cold rain and harping on about nature and sunsets and fresh air. (He tried to ruin our entire cruise by reminding us that next spring break, we'll be in Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks, where I'm pretty sure there are no drink waiters, hot tubs, or Kate Spade shops.) I know, I know. My second husband will most definitely be less outdoorsy and more of a cruise lover. And independently wealthy. And will resemble David Beckham, but will be lazier and not as thin as David Beckham, because what girl wants a husband with a lower BMI than she has? And...wait, where was I????
I have had the same issue when booking cruises and changing cruises. When I complained to the RCCL customer service agent she told me that their system was sexist and always put the male as the primary person. Ridiculous since I had cruised tons before I met my husband and I was the once who had attained the status!

Yup, Chrome seems to be the problem. Once I used Firefox I had no issues.

Try a pomegranate Margherita. They are wonderful; no island oasis involved. I have ordered them in different bars on different ships and they are usually quite consistent.

Can someone explain how it works when we have to change staterooms between cruises. I understand we will have to get off the ship to clear customs and then are able to get right back on. However if we are changing rooms do we have to wait until 1 o'clock to get into our new room? How is our luggage transferred to our new room? Any insight you can provide on this is appreciated. Thank you.

You can only have one reservation at a time. We loved the Anthem! Our favourite ship so far. Lots to do and not as big and crowded as the Allure which we did not like at all. We are a couple in our late 50's.

We sailed on the Anthem in February and loved it. We did not care for the Allure at all last September. We are two adults though so that could make a difference. What works for some does not for others. Sorry you did not have a great experience.

I would suggest downloading the RoyalIQ APP and using it to book your Ifly and Northstar once you get on board. That way there is no waiting in lines. We did that a couple of weeks ago and it was painless.

i see no problem with wearing jeans. I wear jeans to smith & wolensky. I also wear them to the hoity toity french restaurant in town. As long as you look nice is all that should matter. I'm not sure what all of the uproar is about when it comes to jeans.
Agree!

Can you use the diamond drink vouchers in the theatre while watching the show before dinner?

I don't mind waiting as long as there's a bar nearby. Where is the nearest bar and do they have a pager like system, or do we have to keep checking-in? There will just be the two of us, my lovely girlfriend and me.
There is a bar just inside of the MTD restaurant where we had drinks many a night with our favourite bartender while waiting for our table which was never a long wait.

Also, don't try to sign up your kids or yourself for the flow rider with a drink in your hand. They will make you wait an hour and come back.
Speaking from experience? ;)

Knowing you can blow the whistle on the new preservers without past mouths having done the same thing in the past. Priceless....

Thanks. I hadn't actually booked it yet. I was keeping my eye on it to see if it would offer a bigger discount. I booked it today :)
