My parents are on the Dawn today having lunch in Cagney's and I texted him asking if there was any changes to the lunch menu...he texted me back telling me the steak is bigger black angus and a free drink with the steak but only on embarkation day.

Before my trip on the Jewel I was all set to buy the spa pass but when I got on the ship and walked around the spa and I felt it was small and I was on the Jewel during Presidents Week and it was crowded in there. So I didn't buy it. I think the price was around $130-$140 I can't remember the exact amount. That was a 7 day cruise.

Thanks! Having a hard time not booking another cruise right away! Lol.

Ugh I know the feeling!! Lol I was on the Jewel last month and reading your review is making me miss being on the ship. I had an amazing time on the Jewel. Loving the pics :p

I was originally going to book the owners suite but I'm sailing in Feb out of NY and I felt it wasn't worth the extra money for haven access when most of my cruise days the weather will be cold to utilizie the haven outdoor space. I already had suite perks in the penthouse suite so I felt it wasn't worth the extra money. Unless I get offered a cheap upgrade price I'm happy with my aft penthouse :p

I always see posts about the upgrade fairy. I'm already booked in a penthouse suite. Does the fairy ever offer upgrades from penthouse to let's say haven???:D Lol anyone ever have that happen to them? Fingers crossed :o
