Sitting here at Grills twiddling my thumbs and trying to decide if we should just head over to the port. The ship has been in since 6am!!! Come on! Let me come aboard! I swear we will stay out of your way! Lol.

I had the same thoughts as well. We will now have to purchase lunch prior to boarding and the lost cheers time. A bit disappointing since this is a short cruise to begin with. [emoji17]

We're renting a car from the airport and going to have breakfast at Grills. Gonna try and keep an eye on the port and judge when we can head over. I'm hoping we can get there and checked in between 11:30 and 12.

Bumping up since the Victory is debarking today. :)

Hi everyone! We sail next week on the Victory out of Port Canaveral. We received the delayed boarding due to the beautification project. Letter states that boarding will be from 1:30-4 now. Curious if any cruisers this week or last week received that letter and if boarding really did begin that late or not.
Thanks!

Thanks everyone! I think we will get a rental. We've done that before. Maybe we can find somewhere to have a nice, relaxing brunch before boarding. We're gonna be tired after having to get up at 4am to get to the airport. :)

Good morning!
My husband and I are taking a short, 3 day cruise on the Victory for our anniversary on April 28th. Just this morning, I received an email from Carnival that said boarding would be delayed due to "Beautification Project". They need extra time to load supplies, so we won't be departing Port Canaveral until 6, with boarding starting at 1:30. We're also returning to Port Canaveral a bit early, at 6am on Sunday. A little bummed since this is a short cruise anyway. Oh well, nothing I can do about that.
Anyway, my question is this. Our flights, of course, are already booked. We are leaving Columbus bright and early at 5:30am and get into Orlando at 7:35am. We are scheduled on a shuttle that leaves MCO at 9:15. Will they let us wait at the port until boarding?? I'm not sure, at this point, what else we can do other than loiter at the port.

25% off the menu price for spirits above $10.00 per drink
25% off the menu price for wine and champagne by the bottle
What’s NOT included?
Non-alcoholic beverages other than soda and non-alcoholic frozen cocktails
Beverages promoted and sold in souvenir glasses
Bottles of liquor
Beverages offered at gangway while debarking
Beverages offered through room service
Beverages offered in mini-bars
The sharing of cocktails and floaters

Thank you so much for posting!! I, too, am a little worried about the weather sailing out of Baltimore in October. I'm guessing it will be in the 70s, which is a bit chilly when sailing. Oh well, its still a cruise!
BTW, the last picture is absolutely adorable! We also have 2 girls, ages 7 and 4.

Sandpiper- that would be awesome!!! Did you enjoy the cruise overall?

Getting anxious for our cruise in 28 days!! Anyone recently been in one of the 9bs on the pride? We are booked in 6279. Wondering if they have flat screens yet?

I am interested in the 2-5 age group as well!!

We are using Port Canaveral Shuttle Service and the price is $150 +tip for 3 and a "free" return trip to the airport.
I've never used this company before. The price seemed fair, but the "free" return makes me a bit nervous.
Q: Victory April 24 Departure Time??

I couldn't take the wait any longer, so we returned our rental to budget and they shuttled us over to the port. We got to the port at about 12:10. Not too many people here and we were checked in in about 10 minutes. We are zone 4. They are still not boarding and are still estimating boarding to begin at 1:30. Will let you know when we actually board.
