  1. I couldn't take the wait any longer, so we returned our rental to budget and they shuttled us over to the port. We got to the port at about 12:10. Not too many people here and we were checked in in about 10 minutes. We are zone 4. They are still not boarding and are still estimating boarding to begin at 1:30. Will let you know when we actually board.

  2. Good morning!

My husband and I are taking a short, 3 day cruise on the Victory for our anniversary on April 28th. Just this morning, I received an email from Carnival that said boarding would be delayed due to "Beautification Project". They need extra time to load supplies, so we won't be departing Port Canaveral until 6, with boarding starting at 1:30. We're also returning to Port Canaveral a bit early, at 6am on Sunday. A little bummed since this is a short cruise anyway. Oh well, nothing I can do about that.

Anyway, my question is this. Our flights, of course, are already booked. We are leaving Columbus bright and early at 5:30am and get into Orlando at 7:35am. We are scheduled on a shuttle that leaves MCO at 9:15. Will they let us wait at the port until boarding?? I'm not sure, at this point, what else we can do other than loiter at the port.

  3. I was pretty excited to read that specialty coffees are included, however, this is what the Carnival website still says for the Cheers package.

    What’s included?

All spirits (including cocktails), as well as beer and wine by the glass with a $10.00 or lower menu price

    Soda and non-alcoholic frozen cocktails

25% off menu price of bottle water

25% off the menu price for spirits above $10.00 per drink

25% off the menu price for wine and champagne by the bottle

    What’s NOT included?

Non-alcoholic beverages other than soda and non-alcoholic frozen cocktails

Beverages promoted and sold in souvenir glasses

    Bottles of liquor

Beverages offered at gangway while debarking

    Beverages offered through room service

    Beverages offered in mini-bars

The sharing of cocktails and floaters

Buckets of beer, pitchers of beer, and beer tubes

    Beverages offered through wine machines

    Coffee beverages and food items

  4. Thank you so much for posting!! I, too, am a little worried about the weather sailing out of Baltimore in October. I'm guessing it will be in the 70s, which is a bit chilly when sailing. Oh well, its still a cruise!

BTW, the last picture is absolutely adorable! We also have 2 girls, ages 7 and 4.
