  1. On Jupiter June 2024.  We dock outside Venice for two nights and 3 days. There are no excursions listed for the middle day.  It is a Sunday.  I spoke to Viking 2 x and got no satisfactory reasons.  Seems strange the longest day there no excursions?

  2. We are on NCL Prima March 7.   The itinerary says we are in port from 7-3.   Is this local time?  I know the time difference from Port Canaveral is one 1 hour.  We are scheduled for excursion starting at 830am local time Thanx

  3. We used Cortrans.  Stayed at a hotel on their pick up route.  The hotel had a shuttle from airport to hotel and also would shuttle you from hotel to area restaurants.  Cortrans was on time in both directions at $20.00 each way per person you cannot beat it.  Highly recommend them.

Hotel Information: Sheraton Suites Orlando Airport 7550 Augusta National Drive.

  4. Will be in Aruba for a long cruise day.  Want to go somewhere on the beach. Get chairs/umbrellas, be close to something to eat/drink  and maybe some watersports avaiable.  Where do I get off the bus or tell the taxi to drop me off?  And someplace easy to get back to the ship from.  Thank you

  5. I have been a loyal RCCL fan for many years and have sailed all classes.  I am at Diamond status.  The ships are beautiful and have had no complaints.  I have also done 6 Carnival cruises and I would say I like them equally and never had a complaint.  I like the activity level on Carnival.   I think the food on Carnival is better and the free options are more numerous.  On RCCL  they hardly ever change their menus and it can be boring if you sail alot.  The cabins on Carnival seem to be larger esp. as compared to Oasis class.  I am TA and I do run into Carnival haters.... people can be on the same ship at the same time and for some reason have a different experience. You are going to have passengers on each line who behave poorly and are rude.  I have seen it many times.  Bottom line I would pick either one and look at itinerary rather than try to compare lines.

  6. Yikes! I never thought about that with cruising but it makes sense. I had a friend and her husband that wanted to honeymoon in Canada and didn't think anything of the restrictions. He had a DUI from 6 years earlier and he was considered inadmissible.

I had a client who was very close to the date when she could enter Canada after a DUI. She told me she would have to pay a hefty fee to have it waived. Decided she wouldn't pay or go.

  7. My clients took the Kingston to Montreal cruise last week and they reported back they had a wonderful time! Was little nervous but they are small cruise line clients. We tried to book with Pearl Seas and they were rescheduled for Oct. I was able to get them on this trip. They said the food was great, the ports were unhurried, staff was great and it was very relaxing. The only problem was he is 6'3" and the beds were short and cabins small. Next time we will ask for a cabin that can accommodate a bed extender. They will go on the tulip cruise next year!
