just wondering about the royal, hubby and I like to walk the promonade deck to get rid of some of those calories. someone said it doesnt go all the way around on the royal?

It doesn't; however there is a walking/jogging track on deck 17 with apparatus for circuit training.

Last week, I saw that our paid-in-full cruise was being advertised at a lower price, along with giving $150 in credits. I called my TA and voila, I had the lower price and the credits. The credit showed up on my credit card yesterday. Pretty nice.

The total cost is all figured in your price from Princess. You will need money on the land portion for your meals, etc.

There's a store across the street on the right of the hotel as you exit the front doors. Sorry, can't recall the street name, but go right as you leave the hotel and cross that street and head right.

Agree with the majority. Tour first, then relax on the cruise.

On our 2 Alaska trips, we've opted for the Southbound cruise. It's nice to unpack and relax on the ship after a week or more of going from place to place on a bus and living out of a suitcase.

Yes, my brother-in-law got sodas with all of his meals while in the buffet or dining room. The waiters gladly kept him supplied!

Nope. Only Becks, Coors Light, Dos Equis, Miller Genuine Draft and Miller Lite.

The lack of Alaskan Amber was a deal breaker for me.

Is this an "all you can eat" type deal? I could do a number on crab legs and the shrimp!

You will have a small refrigerator in your cabin while on ship; as for the land portion, you may have to carry a small cooler to store the insulin during the day.

Yep, on Baja and Caribe. Unless the yellow tape is blocking them, you're free to go out. We spent pretty much the whole day out there on our recent Canal cruise.

I would have to say from the "secret decks" at the front of the Baja or Caribe decks. No blue partitions to look through.

In Aruba, we found free Wifi at the little mall/shopping area to the right of the docks. It's about a 10 minute walk and just past the "I love Aruba" sign. The shopping area is water side. Sorry, I can't remember the name of the mall, but you can't miss it.

I know - I'll miss Maryland! I actually went to the stadium two years ago. I wasn't going for the game. I was on an architecture field trip in DC. But they gave us the night off, so we took the Metro to Maryland. That was the game where we were really sucking and then Sammy Watkins ran a 90-something yard field goal return and turned the game around. I'm going to miss Sammy!

It absolutely does... if you drink out of a reg thick glass and then taste a proper Reidel glass you will know the difference....It's been proven time and time again...
