  1. You're more than kind. Now that I'm home I can google the places to get the names!!

We had some really warm days and some somewhat wet ones. We had at least one day when shorts would have been appropriate to wear ashore.... Visby I think. As in Alaska think layers. I had a hoody with me and wore it daily pretty much. Carried a waterproof that folds up small in my backpack to wear over it in the rain. Jeans everywhere. You really need good walking shoes..... there are cobblestones in most ports of call if not all.

I wasn't going to post this but whatever.....

    Me. Hoody. And waterproof.

Ooooo... I like your 'waterproof'. I'd ask where you got it from, but you'd probably say England!:D Will have to check on line for something that cute and folds up small. Rain on a cruise is a 4 letter word!

  2. Thank you for this wonderful review and all the pictures were beautiful. Loved how knowledgeable you are on all the port sites. It put so much more meaning into the photographs. I will be doing most of these ports next year in June. Was wondering if you could give me the temperature highs and lows that you encountered. Looks like most of it was of the light jacket variety..

  3. I have enjoyed chatting with you on Wonderful Copenhagen and am so looking forward to this Blog as we are making the same trip next summer but HOW DO you actually subscribe to a Blog and not have to go looking for it every day ???? Someone help ! please :)

    thank you ;) jan

Jan go to the top of the page and click on display mode. On the next screen you can subscribe to the thread. :D

  4. I'm just back from a cruise and would say Tallinn was the most enjoyable and easy to do port overall. I used the PDF I made from some online JPG copies of the original Lair Bear PDF, meaning the map didn't have the resolution I needed to exactly follow the tour. It didn't matter because the whole town is just so easy to explore on your own. Don't feel like you have to do Lair Bear's tour or the one by Rick Steves. But please do feel like you don't need to be in the middle of fifty sticker-wearing cattle to experience this city! Skip any ship excursions and just wander around.

Thanks, that is good to know. From all my research, it seems like it would be an easy town to just wander around in. The pdf has wonderful pictures and history of each of the sites that will surely enhance the walk.:D

  5. So did you receive it happy cruisin or shall I send again?

I have also sent the Tallinn Walking Tour to all other cruisers who have requested it to date. All I ask is that you please share with other CCers.

    Thanks!

I received the copy you sent and thank you so much. Looks like a wonderful walking tour.:) Will be glad to help in sending this out to others, as well.;)

  6. Thank god I checked this post as I was already scouting out where our friends the gnomes might be. We at least I didn't spend hours looking for it.

I guess it will give me more time to enjoy at the pool or flow rider.

That was a good thing. The master gardener told us that he was on vacation. And now that he is back, he is removing all the junk that was in his garden!
