I am a solo cruiser and getting the fas+ premium drink package upgrade. I understand I can get a bottle of wine with each meal when dining instead of ordering by the glass. Am I allowed to share this bottle of wine with anyone dining with me who may not have the package? In addition, the package includes two specialty dining dinners. Do I have to use both of them only for myself or could I use one for me and one for a person dining with me? I presume the Starbucks coffee can be ordered at no charge when in the main dining room or possibly other dining rooms? Or can you only get it at Starbucks? Am I allowed to order a bottle of water when dining to take to my cabin or do I have to always get it from a bar? Most important are chocolate martinis included in the premium plus drink package or do you have to pay that extra $3.60? 😳 Thanks for any responses.

Well, I booked POS for the August 27 Bliss Cruise and got a confirmation. Hope I don’t get canceled at the last minute.

I used $1000 reward which can be applied to cabin only but 2 CN can also be used toward booking everything! Plus with the current 3 up offer you can use 3 CN for balcony and above! Not sure about cruise first. This is using my CAS rep.

I was also able to get the $1000 Europe reward and was able to replace my $750 reward on a Europe cruise I had booked a few days ago!!!

I booked a Barcelona cruise using my $750 reward about three or four days ago. Yesterday I discovered the $1000 off a Europe cruise. I contacted my CAS representative via email and asked her to switch my booking to the thousand dollars off. If she can’t do that, I am sure I can cancel/rebook as the cruise is not until November. I was very surprised that I was able to get the reward for the $1000 since my $750 still showed pending. All I did was tap on it and it assigned me the reward confirmation number and I got an email confirming it too. It didn’t even ask me my email info and name like I have had to do in the past. Try using a different app I did it through pop. I am in the USA if it makes any difference. In the past I was never allowed to get another reward if I had one pending. This time it was different.

I tried doing a mock booking for a solo and the heading said sold out. I clicked on it anyhow and it showed a solo cabin available with the cabin number. My cruise buddy then called twice and actually got her cabin moved to that location as her original assigned cabin was really far from the solo lounge. This was on the Epic. If you try this maybe it will work for you. This happened within the last month. Good luck!

Thanks. I know you don’t lose your perks if you win an upgrade, I guess I just considered the solo lounge a perk because I’d still be solo. What I find appealing is the location of my solo cabin and I can just walk into the lounge and get decent coffee, snacks and I like the idea of having that bar Available every day from 5 to 7 etc. I probably won’t win my bid anyway.

I am booked in a solo cabin but put a bid in for a balcony upgrade. Will I then lose access to the solo lounge if my upgrade bid is accepted? I know if you book a solo balcony you get access to the solo lounge. But if you are given a free upgrade or win a bid upgrade do you get to keep your solo lounge access by any chance? If not are you allowed to enter the solo lounge with a friend who will have a solo cabin.

I want to upgrade my 150 minutes to unlimited Wi-Fi for $110. I understand I can do this once on the ship as I do want to use my onboard credit. I am platinum and get a 15% discount on Wi-Fi according to the chart. Does anyone know if that discount also is good if upgrading the Wi-Fi? Also I remember reading not to use any of your minutes before you do the wifi upgrade or they won’t let you do it or something is that correct? I also read upgrading the wifi gets cheaper if you wait a few days. Not sure if that is right?

Thank you so much for your response. I have all the FAS so it’s kind of hard to spend on board credit unless you use it for excursions. You can’t use it for the service charge or the Casino. I don’t need any more T-shirts. You made very good points and I appreciate it.

The thermal spa pass on the Epic shows the price of $299. I have $100 OBC which I really want to use. If I am able to buy the pass on board, how much more would it be? Thanks. Not sure if it would be sold out or not to be truthful. This is for a March 3 cruise.

If you book a solo cabin, and select all the FAS options do you only get the specialty dining meal for yourself or is it for two people like it shows on the selection? Save up to $160 and savor free meals at our Specialty Dining venues for Guests 1 & 2. Gratuities will be added to your booking.

Any update on this? Trying to determine if I should upgrade to the premium unlimited or the regular unlimited Wi-Fi for an April 2024 Alaska cruise. Thanks!

I booked a solo cabin on the Bliss. I am trying to decide if the Free At Sea Plus upgrade would be worth it. I don’t drink that much and when I do I couldn’t tell well from top shelf or whatever it’s called. But I absolutely would like the Wi-Fi streaming upgrade package. Another specialty meal sounds OK. But what would really make it worthwhile is if I could get the extra $50 for “the second guest” excursion (I presume this means all NCL excursions booked). I asked my casino rep and she said “I couldn’t tell you one way or the other” ( I thought reps were supposed to get the answers for you). So I would appreciate opinions from others who have upgraded to the Free at Sea Plus and if per chance you were solo did you get the extra $50 off per excursion. Thanks!

Today I got an email offer to bid for an upgrade on the ocean view cabin I had originally booked. But I upgraded to a balcony cabin through MSC a couple weeks ago. Should I be concerned? MSC does show my current balcony cabin number but today’s upgrade email offer shows the old Oceanview cabin number. My biggest issue is after I upgraded to the balcony a few days later I did get an offer to bid on a yacht club inside and the Aurea balcony and it did reference my balcony cabin. It looks like I can still bid on that email instead of the one I got today which has different prices but I’m scared of messing something up. Has this happened to anyone?

I had no problem removing the wifi for one device i had ordered online. I just called MSC and had the rep remove it. The rep said it would be refunded on my credit card in a couple days. But is still shows as an overpayment on my paid cruise. But I’m going to add back if I don’t get my yacht club bid. I must say it did take a while for the rep to do that though. Put me on hold a couple times.
