I have the wave promo classic package. Is this the Classic non-alcoholic or the one with alcohol. My reservations just says classic.
Thanks in advance.

Most upsetting that very few wines available on classic package as we have three cruises booked on Solstice - the first one Nov. 27th Sydney/Auckland and were looking forward to enjoying wine with dinner..
Brissie
Maybe you can check it out for the rest of us Brissie, on one of your earlier cruises. It does seem unfair when Australian and NZ wines are so reasonably priced compared to European wines.

My favourite NZ wine sells for less than $10 AUS. There are lots of Aussie and New Zealand wines under $20 AUS. Considering there are usually 5 glasses of wine per bottle Celebrity is making plenty of money from wine. I would have thought the cocktails would have been way more expensive to produce.

I'm interested in hearing how this is worked out too. I understood there were "lots" of wines included in the classic alcoholic package. As a wine drinker I really don't want to have to upgrade to the higher package as I only really drink wine.

That is a huge amount of work. Do those prices include the 15% gratuity? And if you have the 123GO promotion do you have to pay the 15% on top?
Thanks in advance for your answers.

I just found out today that I have actually sailed on Celebrity (sort of)
before. Chandris Lines became Celebrity Cruises in the 1990s. When I was
about 9 or 10 we sailed from Melbourne to Sydney on Chandris Lines Patris.
The X on Celebrity Ships is actually the Greek Chi and is was on all Chandris Ships as well.
I think I should go back to Celebrity and say I am a past passenger before I sail again on 19th August 2013.
There is a whole book written on the cruise line "The
Chandris liners and Celebrity cruises" by Peter Plowman. Here's a link.
123 go Classic package is incorectly adjusted for Australian Solstice departures

I have the classic wave promo showing on my reservation. I'm now wondering if this is the alcoholic package or the non alcoholic one?
I have been told if you got the package for free you can't upgrade onboard and must do it 5 days before you sail.
Does anyone know if this is correct? I booked online so don't have a travel agent to ask.
I really only drink wine so I'm obviously not keen on upgrading if I can get a few Sauv Blancs in the package I already have. I didn't buy a package on the med cruise I took in 2013 and just bought bottles of wine in the dining room and also bought a bottle for the stateroom.
I had planned on just getting on board and seeing what was available before I decided, however, with all the recent posts of not much being available on the classic plan, and the fact you "may" not be able to upgrade on board makes me think maybe I should be doing it before I sail.
What are others doing?
