When I select my stateroom, it shows that there are multiple open staterooms, but when I select it and go to the next screen, I get this error:
Advisory
1054: We are unable to find any staterooms that match the qualifiers you specified. Please select a stateroom from the alternate list of staterooms
What does that mean? I don't see an alternate list to select another stateroom from, and when I go back a page, there are multiple open staterooms available.
This is for the Glory/Scenic Ocean View rooms.
Thank you!

Early Saver is a rate code. Past Guest is a rate code. Military is a rate code. Fun Saver is a rate code, etc.
Just because you booked early does not mean that you booked "Early Saver".
If you didn't book ES you should still be able to receive price drops up till "Final Payment DATE" even if you've paid in full. If your cruise is 8/5, you must be past final payment date and, therefore, no price drop allowed.
Do they not offer OBC anymore with the Early Saver rate? If past the final due date?

When we were on the Breeze, the trivia was running all day in one of the lounges. It was awesome! Never did win one of the cruise ship trophies though haha
-
Oh wow, I could have sworn they changed the Early Saver to be Easy Saver. Guess I'm out of the loop! We're booking almost a year out so we'll definitely user the Early Saver. We got money back on our cruise before final payment and $300 OBC because of it. Amazing!
-
Our birthdays are July/August, so we were hoping to cruise then... I did look up a Hawaii cruise and the only thing I see is May or September, for an 11 day at $949... that's a bit out of our budget haha.
-
Last time I purchased a cruise it was under the old payment plans, where the Early Saver would give us price drops (I filled out the form and got like $500 in credits in the year between booking and cruising).. but they've changed it now.
I'm looking at a cruise for next July/August, and see the Early Saver plan. It says "Price Protection," but does that allow for price drops/OBC? I clicked on the more info option, but it doesn't say. Can someone help? I don't want to be stuck with the same price for a year IF it drops. THANK YOU!

I'm looking at the same decision right now.. my first Carnival cruise was on the Breeze last year and I would sail her again in a heartbeat. HOWEVER, while searching the amenities that the Glory has, a lot of the things we liked on the Breeze, the Glory has (punchliner, guys burgers, piano bar, karaoke, nightclub, etc) but on a smaller scale. Tough call.. but if you're going off the itinerary I would definitely go for the Glory, GRAND TURK IS AMAZING. It's on our list to go again.
Good luck!

My friend and I were going to go to Hawaii for our 30th birthdays next year... but we loved our Carnival cruise so much, we opted to do that again instead!
We may even cruise on the same ship, the Breeze!
I figured you guys would enjoy my excitement! How many of you have fallen in love with a ship that you've cruised her again?

Delayed photos...
The sail away party, had a great crowd!
Our catamaran ride excursion in Grand Turk. I highly recommend this!
The always-busy piano bar. Get there early if you want a seat AT the bar!
Our first animal. Weren't sure exactly what it was! haha
Another good: Our Deluxe Ocean View. A bit tight at times, but the two bathrooms were worth not upgrading to a balcony!

Well I see you're from the OC. Good to see peeps from this side :D
Yes! And it was funny, we made friends with these guys on our ship who were on a B2B, and they're from Woodland Hills!!

thanks for the mini review of the Breeze. Going in March, so I'm always curious the goods and the bads. One bad is no pool in the Serenity, for sure.
That's why some day now I hope to sail on the Sunshine, just to enjoy their triple decker Serenity.
Go to the back pool.. there were always seats available there!
Oh, another bad...the back pool was as hot as BATH WATER. It was so hot I couldn't stay in it! I just had to get in and get back out to stay cool.

My friends and I were on the Breeze 10/6 sailing, and I wanted to write a mini-review. We had such a great time! Hopefully I'll get to sail on her again. Gorgeous ship!
Here's my mini-review:
Good
- Piano bar: Ben was absolutely amazing, though sometimes he would take the tip and not play the song.
- Karaoke: We ended up here every night. Super fun!
- Trivia: Some of the trivia was better than others (ie the 80s decades trivia was politics NOT pop culture!)
- Drinks: The Long Islands/Long Beaches/Blue Long Island drinks were strong AND affordable ($10 after tip and tax). They got us every time
- Taste Bar: BEST SAMPLES EVER!! They weren't open all the time, but whenever we had their stuff it was really good.
- Faster To The Fun: WORTH EVERY PENNY! We skipped lines on the way in, skipped lines at guest services, and had priority debarking. I swear it only too us 20-25 minutes to embark and debark. Our room was ready when we got on the ship, though not all of our bags were there. Would definitely recommend this to everyone.
Guys Burgers - I had to have it twice. So good!
- Comedy Show: We saw Jeff Duke and he was really funny! The only thing bad about the Punchliner was the lines! We waited 45 minutes for a 45 minute long show.
- Tea Time: We loved this! Just a nice quiet break from all the people and we had the little tea time treats. Highly recommend this!
Bad
- Room Steward/Service: It wasn't consistent. We drank our bottle of water in the room and never got a new one, or we had one dirty glass (filled partially with liquid) and he wouldn't clean it and give us a new one. It wasn't terrible service, but some days he was better than other days.
- Bonsai Sushi: HORRIBLE!! By far the WORST service on board the ship. They were slow (took us over an hour to have two rolls and a bowl of miso soup!). My friend had to ask for her wine twice and they messed up her order. My other friend got the california roll and it's supposed to have crab meat, instead it had what seemed like tuna from a can. She ate one roll and couldn't eat the rest. They ended up crediting both my friends a plate. Oh and when they brought out the soup, they gave me a soup spoon and my friend a regular spoon. I had to give her my soup spoon when I was done. Waste of money!
- Dining Room: Though the servers were super friendly and entertaining, it was just slow (too slow for our taste). The entire ship is geared towards instant gratification, the MDR was just painfully slow. And the drink server messed up our drinks almost every night (salt on the rim vs. sugar, red wine vs white wine, etc.). But otherwise it wasn't bad. Food was OK.. not amazing. We only went 3x because of it.
Random Notes
- I swear I thought there was a POOL in the Serenity area, not just hot tubs?
- The last morning before debarkation they put towel animals on all the seats by the pool. We missed it but saw photos.. so make sure to check it out if they do it on all ships!
- I would highly recommend the catamaran ride with snorkeling in Grand Turk. We went to a private beach and were the only ones there.. absolutely amazing!
-
We are three twenty-something girls who can drink a fair share (one of us is a wine enthusiast!) but opted not to do this. We are planning on bringing a bottle of wine on board each plus considering buying our own bottle of alcohol for the room.. so it's just not worth it (and we have 3 excursion days!). But it depends on your habits of buying.

Are there french door cabins on all Carnival cruises? We're on the Breeze. We currently have a two bathroom OV for Oct 6, but they might be worth looking into..
-
I might be doing this for my two girl friends.. for Christmas and/or birthdays. I believe you can use them for anything on board right?
-
I think I'm going to buy it for our cruise next year.. sounds like a great plan!

We didn't do anything in Nassau (regret not choosing something as that was the one port we weren't right on the beach), so instead of walking around we just went back to the boat.
Jamaica we did the bus tour (not the Bob Marley one) that took us to a private beach for lunch. Definitely interesting, but we probably would have opted for something more exciting if we went back.
