We'll be cruising with another couple. The girls (myself and my friend) don't drink at all, while the guys love their booze. How complicated, or is it even possible to put both of them in the same cabin with the drink package and then have her and I in another cabin without the drink package. But then once onboard, I'd be with my husband in one cabin and vice versa. Other than one of the cards not opening the room door, are there any other issues we may encounter. And is this even a possibility?

Thanks everyone. Flying somewhere is perfectly fine, going to look into Alaskan and Mediterranean cruises, based off your answers, those seem like our best bet.

Hi, we're looking to book a cruise with friends. One of them is extremely terrified and won't cruise unless she sees land. She's done a caribbean cruise from San Juan and was ok since every day they were docked somewhere and sailed at night. Wondering if cruises from New York follow the coastline and if land is visible? Or are there any cruises you know of where you see land during sunlight?
