  1. Is there any cruise line, other than Carnival, that sails to/from Montreal? We liked RCL and I believe they sail out of Quebec City only. Is it possible to take a bus from Quebec City to Montreal, which would probably be quite a bit cheaper than the train? Recommendations for a one night stay in Quebec City and Montreal? Trish

  2. We had a 6:45 dining time each night and we asked to be seated at the same table , which wasn't a problem ! Our server's name was Boney and he was fantastic ! Just my opinion, but if you ask to be at one of his tables, you will have the bet service !

Thanks so much for the tip. I have made a note to ask for Boney's section the first night! Trish

  3. Our first time on this class ship and am wondering whether MTD is a good choice? What level of the dining room do they hve MTD as I see there are three levels. Are you able to get the same dining attendants each night? We usually pick a table we like on the first day and if we like the waiter, try to get in the same area every evening and have had success on our last cruise on the Brilliance. Is this possible on this ship?

    Trish

  4. We recently sailed on the 8/31 TA on the Brilliance and there were so many Diamond and Diamond Plus members that lounge chairs were gone by 4:30 pm. They had to offer cocktails, as well as wine, to everyone due to the overwelming numbers of passengers, so for the Diamond members, this was a surprising treat. Am wondering how the Allure handles the cocktail hour? Do they segregate the Diamond and Diamond Plus and what are the hours? Just wine for the Diamond members? Trish

  5. The shore excursion offered by Celebrity for the Flam Train includes 2 1/2 hours of strenuous walking after the train ride to the top. Is it possible to do the train trip without the strenuous walk through the cruise line or must you book the train yourself? I have heard that the ships take over the train and you cannot do it independently. HELP! Trish

  6. We will be sailing for the first time in a sky suite with a butler. On previous cruises, every time we had room service we would give the server $2 or $3. With a butler when you tip at the end of the cruise, are you also expected to give a gratuity every time? I would think not but what does everyone else do? Trish
