Doesn't make a bit of difference. Newport and Bar Harbor are tender ports. And you can't predict which way the ship will dock.
Thank you so much!

Was hoping for some advice. We're looking a Norwegian Escape New York to New York cruise (stopping at Newport, Rhode Island • Portland, Maine • Bar Harbor, Maine • Saint John (Bay Of Fundy), New Brunswick • Halifax, Nova Scotia). This cruise sails north, with ports each day and the final day is At Sea sailing back south. My instinct says a Port side cabin will give us better views (and that maybe for the last day At Sea we'll be sailing to far from the coastline to actually see anything), but wanted to confirm with someone who's done this itinerary (or close to it). Also, we are looking at the cabins in the front of the shop, with forward facing balconies, so actually - views might be similar from port or starboard? Any advice would be greatly appreciated - thanks in advance!

No, not really. I just prefer the layout of that cabin more. The other side has the flipped "mirror" layout. Both identical, just reversed. A bit confusing! Lol
Thank you! So helpful!

I'e stayed in 17702, 17102 and 18702 before. I personally prefer 17 (more specifically 17102) because the cabins are indeed bigger on 17, and the balcony difference is remarkably bigger. Typically I prefer 18 for all other stateroom categories but when staying in any of the forward facing cabins, I prefer 17 on Escape.
Thank you! Between 17102 and 17702, is there a reason you prefer 17102?

Hi! Looking for pros/cons of cabin 18102 vs 17102 (The Haven Deluxe Owner's Suite with Large Balcony). Seems like balcony is bigger on 17, but is that a differentiator? Is the cabin size the same on each floor? Other differences? Any info is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Would love if someone could upload a recent "Don't Miss the Show" guide from Anthem (7 day cruise).
Thank you!

This will be our first time on a RSSC cruise. We are booking the Mariner for an Alaska cruise in August 2020 and would love advice on which Horizon View Suites are the best. Any advice on deck (7,8,9 or 10) and if there are any of the rooms that are better than the others (based on noise, balcony and room size, wifi strength, etc) would be much appreciated? I have heard that deck 10 can be a bit noisy from above, but not sure if that is still true after the refurb.
Thanks so much for any advice!

I believe the web booking is limited to 4 but if you either call your TA or Celebrity they can lift the restriction and book 5 in the Penthouse if the ship is not at or above full capacity.
Jim
Thank you Jim!

Can someone let me know the maximum number of passengers that I can book in a Penthouse Suite on Celebrity Equinox? We are a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children). The suite is large enough, but I am skeptical about them allowing more than 4. Thanks in advance!

We are going on Oasis on 8/22 and thinking of purchasing a beverage package for each of us. Does anyone know if RC typically runs sales on these? I saw a deal where you can get a Royal Refreshment pkg free with an Ultimate pkg. But, I am interested in 2 Ultimates...hoping they might run a deal on that? Any insight would be MUCH appreciated!

That was my gut instinct. Thanks for confirming!
