  1. My sister-in-law and I did the dolphin encounter in Rotan it was the first time for both of us and we were in our 50's, it was absolutely amazing . I was not aware that there was an additional excursion that included snorkeling more time with the dolphins etc. if I had we would've definitely done that one. Either way you won't be disappointed

  2. I'm very sorry for busting in on your post as I have no answers to your questions. But I can't figure out how to post my own questions. I wanted to see if anyone knew how obstructed the view on the Norwegian Jewel was in Cabin 8094. And if anyone has cruised in cabin 11182 on the getaway. I can't find where to post questions only to reply to them. Again sorry for the inconvenience

  3. Iplaywithstring, i'm not sure how rocky the ship is on the lower decks I've only cruised deck 8, i'm responding to the comment about having your mom taking seasick medicine for the patch. In November 2012 I took my mom on her very first cruise, The doctor prescribed the patch, she had a severe allergic reaction, and I had no clue as to what was going on because she was hallucinating paranoid agitated she displayed almost every adverse reaction to the medication as per the medications disclaimer. Of course I had not read it. At first I thought she was just playing around with what she was seeing and trying to point out to me things that she was seeing. And it just kept getting progressively more bizarre. That peaking point was when she didn't even recognize me. She thought I was someone impersonating me and that someone had kidnap me and was trying to kidnap her. As I said it kept getting more bizarre. I thought she had a brain tumor or something. By meeting her and talking with her in the beginning of the cruise that crewmembers new something was odd. Even the medical personnel didn't have a clue. They do now. I could go on and on and on about the worst experiences of my life. But the effects seem to Peak. And then lessen. The crew on the pearl were a amazing and we got through it. But please have her doctor make sure that she is in no way allergic to the patch you will know with in the first 12 hours whether this is affecting her adversely. It's very scary so check it out before the cruise and have a wonderful wonderful time

  4. My sister-in-law and I did the dolphin encounter in 2010 and it was amazing! And last year my daughter and I did the dolphin encounter in Grand Cayman. Mikayla is a special needs child and the personnel was very accommodating she has Williams syndrome so mobility was not a problem just calmly explaining what they were doing in our group the Dolphins name was Luna and in no way did it appear that the Dolphins were anything but happy. And I never heard anything about dolphin rape. Both experiences were great and it is something you will remember forever they're amazing creatures
