First stop of the day... and they still use straws!
Did you notice if they had a Starbucks YOU ARE HERE Collection specific to the Norwegian Bliss or were they just Seattle, Alaska, Canada, etc?
My daughter in law collects these, and I was wondering the same thing.

I read the information on the Valet service, and could not find anything on the transportation back to the airport.

If you go to Alaska Fish and Game online they have a ton of information about seasons, restrictions, permits, etc. you can fish off the bridge in Ketchikan or near the hatchery in Juneau. Not sure about Skagway. Do you plan on bringing your own gear?
Can you rent equipment in Ketchikan? I have some guys that what to fish off the bridge.

Read someplace that you can book this tour at the visitor center. Has anyone done this? What is the cost? I saw a wide range of cost on line at various websites, but wondering if it would be cheaper and easier to go to visitor center and buy a ticket for trolley. Thanks

I found a cab downtown. Asked him his price and we went. He gave us his phone number to pick up when done. Don’t remember price but it was reasonable.

Is there a shuttle from the ship to downtown? Cost or free?

Will be on the Bliss in August, and we are in Juneau for a short time. Looking to just do Mendenhall Glacier. What is the best way to get there? Not sure we want to take the city bus and walk a mile and half to visitor center. Heard you might be able to buy tickets to go there off the dock, if so what does it include and cost?

MDR’s have the same menus.
On the smaller ships often the aft MDR will often require long pants. The Bliss I am not sure about.
For us it’s a personal preference on which one visit. Maybe we wanted to dance on the Escape, well the Manhattan Room would be our choice! A quieter dinner might necessitate taste or savor.
The atmospheres are different, but is the same food. Thanks, this helps.

Sharon, read the NCL website under "dining". It's freestyle, nothing is assigned.
So, do they all have the same menu each night?

Looking for clarification on main room dining on NCL. This is our first time on NCL, and will be on the Bliss in August. Are you assigned a “main dining”room? Do they all have the same menu each night? If they serve the same menu, why would you chose one room over another? Thanks

We used the promo in November and we could choose Chops, Sabor, or Giovanni’s. We went to Giovanni’s and it was wonderful. It was easy to check and change to what we wanted.

Calling home
in Norwegian Cruise Line
Posted
We are cruising on the Bliss in August. One of the people in our group would like to call home and check on their child during sea days. What’s the best and inexpensive way to do this? They have an Android phone. Thanks.
