  1. We just did this on Oasis a couple weeks ago. We just booked it on board. We were able to choose all 3 nights restaurants and times, plus we had a large party of 13. There was plenty of availability.

The website says that if you book online rccl will pick the restaurant and time for the 1st night, I didn't want to let them do that so I waited til we boarded and it worked out great. We booked 150 CP, Chops, and Izumi Hibachi and save $30 over booking them separately. I thought it was a really good deal.

Where do I go to book this on the ship? Guest services?

  2. Hello!

I was wondering about the dining packages. I was checking it out on the cruise planner and it was a pretty good deal for 4-days. When I was trying to book it, it only shows day 2, day 3, etc. I wanted to know that if I book for Day 2 at for example 6:30 how will I be able to book for the other 3-days? Also once we paid for the whole package. When we show up to the specialty dining restaurants do we have to pay extra for the meal we get or we can choose whatever dish and its included with the package already. Hopefully this makes sense.

    Thank you!

This is for the Oasis of the Seas by the way.

  4. LOVE THIS SHIP

    1) at sail-away..go to the "secret" hallway (port)and wear something bright and wave good-by. There is a camera on the hotels and family can watch you sail away and when you come home, it is still on the webcam for Fort laud

2)There are periscope "things" attached to deck and when you look in them, it is magical. Central Park have many , but they are all over the ship. Ask at GS for list.

3)Ice Show..wear warm clothes, you are in a ice arena.

4)There is a Globe opposite Sorrento's. It opens and the Captain and crew members, welcome you from there. Check daily Nav for times.

    5) Adults pool area is sooooo nice. Sun and shade areas and food/drink.

I am so jealous..Have a GREAT cruise. Relax and enjoy.

    Thank you :)

  5. Make sure you book your entertainment online as soon as it opens especially the comedy show (it is a small venue and books quick) the ice show is great as well as the aqua show. Make sure you read the compass daily to see what is going on each day. It is a large ship but is so great. look at the deck plans to get familiar with the layout. Try the roast beef sandwich at park cafe. Central park is a great place to go for a quiet place to read etc.

Definitely going to book entertainment this weekend!

  6. Only been on this class of ship once but the aqua show is a must I believe. We had a boardwalk balcony at the end and watched it from our cabin. If you like Mexican food Sabor is very good. Central Park is a great area just to have a drink and people watch. There is a secret area on deck 14 to view the ocean and a good spot for sail away which not many people know about. Go on port side (left) hallway all the way to the front of the ship and there will be a door that leads you outside. There are hundreds of other tips others will point out to you but just a few that I know of.

Thank you I'll definitely check that out!

  7. Royal may ask (insist) that you move from your quad occupancy cabin to a cabin that holds only 2 people. Your cruise most likely will be repriced to current rates.

What you may want to try is waiting until final payment time or even up to 14 days prior to the cruise sailing to cancel the extra 2 people. By that point they most likely will let you keep the cabin.

The 3rd and 4th guest can cancel with no penalty up to 14 days prior to departure.

Call now and just ask if you cancelled the 3rd and 4th would they make you change rooms.

    Okay :) Thank you!

  8. Before our first cruise, I bought a personalized door magnet with our names. That hasn't been stolen. On the other hand, I also brought magnets that say "Los Angeles," since that's where we're from. These were stolen on both our cruises.

When we sail to Mexico on Princess in October, I'll just put up the personalized one. I guess no one wants our unusual names, and lots of people on that ship will be from L.A. anyway.[emoji475]

    I

Yeah that's a good idea. Since people don't want the decoration that has other names on it. I also heard the putting the stateroom # on there no one will take it too.

  9. I just went to book tour #2. I see it starts at 9 AM. My ship is docked from 12:15-8:00 PM. Does anyone know if the schedule can be changed for the ship? Thanks.

This was on the Bernard's Tour website under the FAQ page scroll down to #9 and it should give you additional info about this. I hoped this helps!

"All tours for ships arriving between 6:00am and 8:30am begin at 9:00am

All tours for ships arriving at 9:00am begin at 9:30am

All tours for ships arriving at 10:00am begin at 10:30am

All tours for ships arriving at 12:30pm begin at 12:45pm"
