  1. Okay, I depart on Saturday and I want to hear from prior cruisers. An email was sent from Carnival telling travelers that they are not boarding until 1:30 pm due to "testing"...what the helllzzzz.

I'm going to arrive at Penn station at 9:30 am what are we going to do for all those hours???? I guess it is better to be early than rushed. Is it better to stay at pen station and maybe let my husband wander around, and people watch...then go to the port???

Or does the Carnival port area have chairs and is enclosed like the Florida ports where you are inside a big place with chairs, bathrooms and vending machines.

  2. I have said this a thousand times, if I lived in florida I'd go on a cruise at least 6 times a year. Husband off work at the last minute, 3 day cruise to the Bahamas, husband getting on my nerves..(ha ha..) cruise for the girls or even alone...when you don't have to pay airfare, it is GREAT. Even if I had to take a greyhound bus to the departure city, it is still DIRT CHEAP!!!

  3. First, sometimes people offer an idea but upon reflection, they release it was not a good idea. 1) Did your BFF discuss this with her husband??? How does he feel about that. 2) These cabins are so small unless you are in a $5,000 cabin, I need more room with me and my husband much less having another person. 3) You have time to plan, take your lunch, by less things at the store do what you have to do to financially prepare your funds but my suggestion is GET YOUR OWN CABIN. You will want a break from them and they will want a break from you. NO joke but I sometimes need a break from my husband on the cruise and go to the spa or something...please I'm begging you get your own cabin.
