I am going on the Breeze in a few weeks. I emailed the special needs dept and requested vegan meals. They replied that they could do this. I will check in with the MDR the first night to ensure they got my info. Good luck!

We are also potty training right now and have a cruise in January. We are going cold turkey for our stubborn 3-yr old son. Even though we have three weeks, I am doubtful we will be trained enough to use the pool. We have a beach day planned, instead.
Good luck!

Light cotton long sleeve shirt layered over tank top. Great for extra sun and bug protection-

Thank you, Pellaz!

Since I made my final nonrefundable payment on a Feb 2014 cruise for my family including my kids. I am certain that Carnival will start the kids sale free program.
You took the words out of my mouth.

Found the answer to my question:
Starts Dec 8 on Glory then they will
"gauge additional guest feedback before rolling out the program fleetwide in the latter half of 2014 and 2015. Other ships included in the pilot are Carnival Liberty beginning in January, and Carnival Imagination and Carnival Inspiration starting in February."

Did anyone catch exactly which ships the menu menu will be tested on, and how long it is expected to take before it is rolled out to all ships?

I think the OP said they avoid oils. I don't think this means they never eat them. I bet they are fully aware of what is in pizza dough and hummus.

I got my booking - whew!

Is this the deluxe ocean view room type that has two bathrooms for families?

Me too. I am going to assume their internet is down or they are on a cruise ;)

I am having trouble imagining using the spa. Could you elaborate on which things in the spa you most enjoy and why?
Are all of the available spa amenities hot, and is it a heat comparable to a hot tub? Do you wear swimsuits, towels, or go nude?
Please excuse my ignorance in these things. The idea of relaxing away from crowds appeals to me, and I love massages, but I generally can't tolerate the heat in hot tubs for more than 10 min.

Congrats on your health and platinum and your cruise - have a blast!

I also had the same issue this week and haven't heard back yet. I will try again-

Bumping since I would also like to know this info

The most important thing to remember is that bottle of wine you can bring on the ship.
We did this for this first time last year - it is amazing to forget you are a parent for a few days and re-acquaint yourself with your spouse and enjoy each other for a concentrated amount of time.
Chances are your kids will have no problems while you are gone and they will have a great time having a break from their parents!

Have a blast and come back soon with beautiful pictures!

Aaahhh, I see. Well at least we can tell him what is for dinner!
-
I got my FTTF!!!!

Whew! Thank you all for the info. Hopefully my son will love eating at the buffet and his parents will have some re-charge time in the MDR.

Where do the 2-5 year old Camp Carnival kids eat dinner when they are at the camp? I hope it is not the MDR since I would love to have dinners alone with my husband and not have to walk by our 3-yr old in the dining room when we are not eating with him (he might get upset and want to eat with us).
