We are heading out on the 4/2 sailing. We are local to the area. Any tips on getting to the port for parking? We are a little far out for uber. And, keep the Sunshine tips coming.

It is exciting to see a cruise ship again. The Gem was surrounded by 4 cranes this morning. Must be continuing the dry dock work here in Charleston.

I spotted the Gem when I was crossing the Don N Holt bridge in Charleston, SC this morning.

We had 3 side by side on Harmony, Deck 10 and they were great! Lots of room and great views. Deck 8 may not have the same views, but the extra space is nice.

Thanks for sharing. I'm amazed that the cruise director is projected to come in at #200. 😁

Sailed in the forward facing OV on Harmony and it has been our favorite cabin. Lots of room. The interior facing balcony could be hot during the day if you are trying to escape at a nap time.

Booked on the Thanksgiving week cruise which is the first cruise after the dry dock. Can’t wait to find out what they are going to do.

Deluxe pkg started at $60 pp/pd.    Dropped to $49 around Black Friday.  Under $50, so I booked.    Went to $44 a month or so ago.   Cancelled and re-booked then.    Cancelled and re-booked again today when it dropped again.   So for the two of us, the total price difference from original price to todays price is $347 !!! 

 

So some hope for those that are a little further out.    Remember:   Buy at a the price you find acceptable, then watch for price drops.    Saved some serious scratch !

I have seen this on several threads. When you cancel and re-purchase, can you do it in the cruise planner or do you have to call? Thanks.
