My family and I are going in June to San Juan, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and Amber Cove. We've been to Amber Cove before but the other 3 are new to us. Does anyone have any suggestions for excursions for those ports? Thanks!

I have not sailed on the Spirit, but I did sail on Luminosa this past June. We LOVED that ship. It was meant to be a relaxing trip and it stacked up as the best trip. If you are looking to be busy, busy on the ship, I don't know if that is the one for you. We don't like the party atmosphere on most ships, so this worked great for us. We've already booked another trip on the Luminosa for this reason.

Do you know if the doors are magnetic?

We're going to Alaska in June. I have all of the excursions I want for the other stops, but I have nothing for Victoria. The ones Carnival is offering are not appealing and/or have horrible reviews. Anyone have some suggestions? The port stop is only 4 hours to satisfy the Jones Act.

I'll be going to Nassau in 2 weeks. I'm looking for suggestions of a tour guide that is reputable that could take me and 4 others around Nassau to various locations. Not exactly looking for someone that has only certain places they go but someone who will take us to the most notable locations (Queens staircase, Fort, etc..) and can also suggest local eateries that would be off the beaten path.

My sons and I are going to be in Nassau on Jan 14th through Carnival. I would love to surprise them with a day at Aquaventure but when I go on the Atlantis website to purchase a day pass it's $250 per person!! A waterpark for $750 seems a bit much. I have booked a room at the Comfort Suites for $500+ which would save me some, but I'm seeing on some posts that I'd have to wait until 3pm (totally not worth it!). Any way to get it a little less? Any other ideas?

How does the steakhouse work? Is it similar to MDR but with a cost? I prepaid for it on our Alaska cruise since that cruise is for our anniversary. Luckily, I got it before the price increase, too.

I plan on booking an Alaska cruise as soon as they are available.
I booked the Alaska cruise on the Luminosa June 21-28, 2023. I am excited about the trip but was a little disappointed that they are missing Guy's burgers and something else.

I haven't even left yet and I've already spent more on our Alaska cruise than I ever have before. But you know what? It's for our 30th anniversary and a once in a lifetime trip (though we may go again!!). Between the airline tickets, airport parking, cruise price and the excursions. Whew... But I am so excited about this trip. I've never been this far from home.

My understanding is vacinnation and/or testing is required only on cruises over 5 days now. Am I correct? Going on a 4 day in January and the person I'm traveling with is not vacinnated but is willing to test if necessary.

I slept on one on the Carnival Liberty and it was really comfortable. I'm particular about my bed, as well. BUT, I'm only 5'2". I seriously doubt someone 6'3" would fit on it.

22 and a few hours.

Following. We'll be on the Magic in just a few weeks.

My best friend just got off the Magic last week. She said the $99 package that states 5 pics and a canvas is just 5 pictures and 1 of those is the canvas. So not 6 pictures. Anyone know for sure?

Thank you both! Think I'll do just that! :)

If this has been asked somewhere else please forgive me. I promise I've searched for the answer!!
My family and I will be on the Magic in July visiting Cozumel, Belize, etc.. We have an excursion booked for Belize and it states departure time is 9:30 am. I booked the excursion through Carnival. My question is if that excursion time is the ship time or the local time? If I understand correctly, Belize is 2 hours behind ship time. I realize we need to be back before the ship departs (at ship time).
We're also going to Mr. Sanchos while in Cozumel. According to their site they are open from 9am-5pm which would be ship time of 10-6pm since they are an hour behind, right? Since that isn't booked through Carnival, I need to make sure I have our times right on that one. Don't want to miss the boat (literally!).

I've searched but cannot find my answer.
We've reserved the AI for Mr. Sanchos for when we are there in July. My sons (15 and 18) would like to go to the inflatable section as well. Can I purchase just for them or are all of us required to have the same thing?

My cruise is paid for and I've been purchasing Carnival gift cards (physical ones) for our spending money with each pay check. Today I bought an e-gift one. How do I put that in my S&S account or how can I get guest services to do so?

My family and I are booked on the Legend for the Alaskan trip. We are so very excited as we are celebrating many milestones in our family. My oldest is graduating from high school, my youngest is turning 16, and the husband and I are celebrating 25 years of marriage! As mentioned, I've booked our cabins and now the real planning begins.
Any suggestions on hotels we can stay in when we come in from South Carolina? We're hoping to fly in the Sunday prior to our Tuesday cruise so we can take in Seattle. We really don't want to rent a car while there but would rather have something close to the airport as well as the cruise terminal and places like the Space Needle. I admit I know nothing about the area, so excuse my ignorance if none of those things are relatively close.
Also, if any of you have been on the 7 day cruise previously, please let me know what items I'll need to pack. I know it's going to be chilly during our trip. We live in the south so cold weather clothing isn't necessarily something we have abundantly in our closets. What will I need to purchase between now and then?
Any other suggestions you can provide? This will be our 3rd cruise but we still feel like newbies.
Thanks!

440 days til Legend. Still in the planning stage for the Girls Weekend cruise. Haven't decided on a ship, port, or dates.

I bought my first bracelet this week while on my very first cruise on the Carnival Fantasy. I also was able to buy 4 sets of charms (B2G2Free) and so far (even though it's early!) I'm very pleased. Guess I'm going to HAVE to go on another cruise and get more charms and bracelets as Christmas/birthday gifts. ;) How unfortunate for me. :D

For those of you "in the know": Is Waterworks open all the time or only during specified hours?
Just got back today. Waterworks is only open certain hours.
Gift exchange ideas needed.
