  1. Looking for experienced bus riders advice. I want to take the City Bus (Da Bus) from Pier 2 Terminal to Hale Koa Hotel for their luau and return to ship afterwards. I see #19, 20, or 42 on their website. Cost is only $1 for seniors 65+. I am seeing a busstop a few minutes walk from ship terminal at Ala Moana + OPP South St (according to Google) going Southbound. And a busstop near Hale Koa at Ala Moana + Paoa Pl. Do all three busses take same amount of time?
  2. We are wanting the car so we can go to Schofield Barracks Army base and maybe Hickam AFB. Hopefully parking there is adequate. We've done the touristy things before. Do you know if there's car rentals near the ship? Maybe be better just to get a car in the morning right off the ship and use it a few hours and bring it back.
  3. Thanks, Princeton. I think not sheltered would be ok. My husband found some lots that are about a 10 min walk to the ship. Is it a safe area to walk in early evening / early morning? What do you mean " theres not some hack for it"?
  4. Thanks, guys, for the comments! We have found online some places offering hourly parking - even overnight - in the area of Pier 2. I was hoping a local could give me some insights...
  5. My Celebrity cruise begins in Honolulu with an overnight 4/20/2020-4/21/2020. We want to rent a car for that time. Where can we park the rental car overnight?
  6. We want to walk the Rafael Melgar Avenue from cruise ship towards the airport where I understand there are some WWII planes on display in front of their Air Base. IS IT SAFE? Also thought about using taxi/uber to go there and walk back.
  7. Different ships really do vary on what the door prizes will be. Sometimes there's a big spread of drinks and eats and other times just the basic coffee, juice and water with pastries. The Cruise Director can be either entertaining...or not so much.
  8. Dh and I each won this mouse … and still use them!
  9. Where can I find release dates for upcoming 2020 cruises? Specifically Transatlantics and N. Europe. Looking for destinations in Iceland, Scotland, Belgium; not the most common places, many of which we have already been to.
