  1. Their is no REAL Champagne available on the premium or classic package without a upcharge. Chandon is available by the glass on the premium. Whilst it is not traditional champagne, just sparkling wine it is founded by Moet and Chandon and although bottled in California it is in keeping with the traditional heritage of the french method.

    Cheers!

  2. I booked this cruise for the West Coast venue. (Hawaii-LA) . I live in Colorado however, so I can drive there with no plane fare. It is relatively the same price for me as the last Caribbean 11 nighter out of Florida with plane fare in Aqua class. I think it would probably depend on the cabin you choose and the town-state-country you reside in.Cheers!

  3. Thats not a bad deal , usually around 400-500 (per couple) is a sweet spot. We only do Aqua, the service is better imo, as well as not having to eat at the buffet for breakfast. We just got off the Reflection on an 11 night and suite guest were being turned away in Blu. They did not care for their dining venue at Luminae. Also if you spa the Persian gardens is an added perk.

    Cheers!

  4. When the ship is up to speed the vibration is not existent. When the ship is idling around slowly and/or maneuvering into or out of port the vibration occurs. It seems to originate from a certain prop or engine speed and the vibration will manifest itself in different locations dependent on the frequency. It would be a picture frame across from the bed, the bathroom door (we learned to unlatch it and leave it cracked to eliminate that one), the ceiling would also be a source from time to time as well as the stowage above the head of the bed. In the close sets of island chains(ABC's) this would start in the early morning hours and continue until we docked, disturbing sleep.

The mechanics door is on the forward extreme of the passageway. I never heard door traffic from within the room.

  5. I had that exact cabin this past November on our 14 day cruise. The bed is by the balcony. My only complaint was there was a very jarring vibration , enough that it would shake the picture and TV. There is also a mechanic room service door across the hall approx. 4 cabins down. It had quite a few mechanics coming in and out most days. Just FWI , it didn't bother us , however I could see some people avoiding this location for those reasons.

  6. Does anyone know where it will allow you to enter a Promo Code on Celebrities website? I got an email from them offering an onboard credit for a future cruise . It states you may enter it online , however I have not been able to apply it.

    Cheers!

  7. I had the same experience on our 14 day Southern Caribbean sail on Eclipse this November.

I upgraded to premium on day one to enjoy the wines listed on the premium package. (Chandon)( Kendall Jackson Pinot Noir) and was told the first 4 days-nights they were "out".

I complained to guest relations finally in day 5 and suddenly they were "found". This also happened on a Royal Cruise last May. I really don't like the game playing. I don't expect to have these offered at the pool bar but the Sky lounge and Ensemble Lounge should have these choices available. If I am to sail again I will just forgo the package and bring on 2 great bottles!

    Cheers!

  8. Thank you all. I know the prices have fluctuated quite a bit over the last few months on this cruise. I originally had 7305 assigned , which was a 2B. I was happy with that as it was an unobstructed view, and I was expecting deck 6 2D.

I am very fortunate to have this opportunity to try Aqua class, but must admit way too cheap too pay for in advance.

    Cheers!

  9. To all the knowledgable Celebrity cruisers out there. I just got a upgrade to Aqua class and a very favorable cabin after originally booking a verandah stateroom guarantee quite a while back for my upcoming November Cruise. I had already booked all my dining in advance in the cruise planner. I am new to Celebrity and understand Aqua class has a specific dining venue. Since this is an upgrade am I now allowed to dine in Aqua? If so can I make reservations for this venue in advance online also ?

    Cheers!

  10. Is anyone else having issues booking the new promotion of $25 deposits on sailings for 2017. I have read the exclusions and the one I have reserved is not one of them. I also read the instructions on how to bypass online, and it is still saying I have to put $900 reservation hold.

    Cheers!

  11. Okay I am fairly new to this site and was wondering if anyone can give constructive insight. I have the 14 night Southern Caribbean cruise reserved November 27, 2016. I have a Guarantee Verandah 2D booked currently . Anyone that has sailed this ship , in your opinion is it worth saving $750.00 for a non assignment? I am fine with forward or aft and could live with a semi obstructed view. I have never sailed with Celebrity before and have never booked guarantee. Is deck 6 that bad?

    Thanks in advance.

  12. If anyone can offer their expertise I would appreciate it on the Select package.

I know that wine up to $8 is included. My question is can you pay the difference to upgrade to a premium wine by the glass? or must you pay full price?

I went over their package online and could not find the answer.
