ok I was wondering my cruise on emerald princess is in april 2020 is that too far out for me to get my ipad ready for the medalion( ocean ready)...It does not reconize my booking number.

i love the afternoon tea. Last Aug we had it almost every other day on the Emerald going to Alaska..Our server was having a great time with our table 3 couples..He was teasing us he would stand in the corner but one of the ladies would put the cup up to drink he was there in a flash to refill..He was playing little games with us and it was a blast.. We were 3 couples who shared a table and alot of fun at the tea..Its one of my favorite things to do..I have paid for the delux one put prefere the regular ..pinky fingers up....

Never had one offered to use..Maybe not to Canadian Cruisers..

canadian also..we just let it stand and have credit card company convert..its just easier for us..

I have been wondering how to check for the price of ezair flights. I have booked going from detroit to los angles. But was wondering if there is a way to check if the flight amount has gone down without cancelling our booking...Read on here somewhere but can't find it on how to check if flight goes down..thanks..

Hi all I am Canadian and wouldn't have my cell phone (too expensive data ) I want to use an Uber from LAX to hotel and ship can it be done without cellphone. Never used an Uber before

Doing a Hawaii cruise and want to fly in the day before. Anyone recomend a good hotel close to pier that does a shuttle service or a quick taxi/uber away..

Did the Alaska on the Emerald last Aug and we used the pool the first day when boarding and never got in it again. It is not heated and even though it was Aug pool was cold..Don't bother with a bathing suite chances are you wouldn't need it..Enjoy great cruise loved it

Seattle is a Princess ezcheck port..Did the Alaskian out of seattle july and i used it..I will do it again on my next cruise..I fly Delta and it is available to them

Used ezaire and no problem would use again

ty I am thinking in terms of weather and eg storms..I was looking in April. I also like the princess but our last cruise the food was awful so thinking of trying a new line.

When is the best time to go and best ship to go on..Only have cruised with Princess but would be open to anyother line..

July got off the Emerald did the July 29-Aug 5th.. ship is great crew our statesperson (Clifford) was great but the buffet was awful...I was really surprised because we have saled with Priness a few times and had no problems with the food...Loved the cruise but not the food..

leaving this sunday..No problem seeing them..thanks for the post..

I will be on the July 29th sailing to alaska on the emerald..I will keep the patters and try to post when i return..

We just returned from an Alaskan cruise on the Emerald Princess. Pre-cruise we read all the suggestions about what to pack; layers, rain gear, etc. We were prepared!!

We had seven days of sunshine and not a drop of rain. The temps were between high sixties and mid-eighties. The natives kept telling us they couldn't believe what was happening. It's the rainy season!! The water was like sailing on a lake every day.

We saw whales, bears, eagles, sea lions, etc. It was a dream cruise. I wish you all the same but still pack for normal weather. This was a fluke.:cool:[/q

Any fellow Canadians travelled to Alaska with just a Nexus card.. Will that do or do we need passport also. We live on the border of Canada /USA (Ontario/Michigan) and always cross with just Nexus..They even have faster crossing Nexus lines..thanks

Travelling to Alaska first time to alaska B1 C414 is it a good cabin is it covered and do you get a good view..

This is our first trip to Alaska..DH dream cruise..We have always gone either by cruise or tour to hot tropical places..I am so thankful for all the tips i have been reading on here..We leave on Princess the end of July ..Hoping no bad weather..So much to see and do can't wait

Doing our first Alaskan cruise end of july this year . Me and DH are really looking forward to it. We have booked excursions based on what we thought we really want to see and do. . We also want to see as much as we can so we booked one for each port. We checked out what was available and me and DH picked ones that suited. What ever we do i know it will be an exciting trip for us

Me & DH are going to Alaska for the first time in end July/beging of august. I know it will be colder than other cruises we have done (always warmer places) Will anyone be able to use the pools or will it be to cold then..
