  1. Would like someone's opinion on whether it would be better to book just sea days in sanctuary or do just the cabana rental- what is the cost of the cabana rental for the day and what does this include. I know the prices of sanctuary already just trying to decide which to do?? Does anyone have a preference on either one?? We are cruising on the Regal 12/10 thanks.

  2. So are we to assume that only those on Emerald deck in spots will have the Medallion? I don't think anybody really knows what the heck is going on. I suppose as long as I can get in and out of my room and use my card to make purchases onboard, then I will be fine. It would have just been nice to see and experience this new technology. It is so frustrating to get different stories from different people and with alot of us sailing in December have not heard of anyone on our sailing on 12/10 that will be testing it! I truly wonder exactly where these pods of cabins are?? Oh well it is what it is.

  3. My 12/10/17 Regal cruise was just changed from St. Maarten to Antigua. I really did not think that St Marrten would be open to cruise PAX so fast with all the damage they had.

Wow!! I really thought that St. Martin would be open, but you are right. For our 12/10 Regal Cruise- We will be going to Antigua according to the cruise personalizer- It is still blacked out and not yet open to booking excursions so I just wonder when they will open that up?? Any idea of how St. Thomas is doing and if this is likely to remain on our schedule?? It says according to article above it will be open but they have said that about St. Martin too. I guess it really doesn't matter we will go to wherever the ship goes and have a great time regardless.

  4. cruiserking.... thanks so much for this live review. We are going on our 1st ever Princess cruise and we booked a club class cabin A426- if you have a chance and could swing by it I would love to know your thoughts on this location. I have never had a cabin forward on a ship mostly due to the movement- is it bad?? I like and prefer to stay closer to the middle.

I am excited for the club class dining and the associated perks as well. Thanks for such a great review so far. Was the check in easy?? We will be departing from FLL so I know they set up there might be different. I'd surely take any tips you can offer. Thanks and enjoy your cruise.

  5. I was wondering if anyone could offer insight into whether or not the Club class suites are worth the extra price- for us it would only cost about $320 to upgrade so not sure if this is worth it or not. Also, with the priority embarkation- does this mean you get to board early?? What exactly does this mean??

  6. We are booked and just recently paid off our cruise for 12/10/17 on Regal- we are supposed to go to Princess Cay, St. Thomas and St. Martin- I know at least 2 of these ports will likely be a no-go, but we have absolutely NO intention of cancelling. They need our help so whatever we can do to help support them in any way we should. This is our 1st Princess cruise and we are so excited. I just wonder where we will end up going. I know that there are other cruises well ahead of ours that they will have to address 1st but I hope they let us know what will end up happening.

  7. While I appreciate everyone's comments on the status of Crown Princess as well as other cruise lines...it is a bit disheartening to hear such negativity. My husband and I are booked on the Crown for December and will be our 1st cruise with Princess - have always wanted to try them. We are both going into this with open mind- as we really are easy to please and come from the mind set a cruise is what you make of it. We have been loyal to RCCL and have also been on Disney, HAL, and 1 Carnival cruise - way back when. We, like so many are beginning to branch out too and try different lines, next year we have NCL Bliss- new ship, and Celebrity Edge- new ship to try and we are looking forward to both. I plan to do and write a full complete review of the Crown when I get back to provide another viewpoint which I hope will be a positive one amidst all the negative one. Life is short and we need to all remember to just relax and enjoy the gift of simply being able to cruise- so many will never ever have the chance to enjoy this type of vacation. We try to remember just how fortunate we are and enjoy all a cruise has to offer. Just a thought and I will let you know how our cruise goes. :)

  8. I am trying to figure out if the Crown Princess has an adult only solarium/pool?? And if so, what is it called and where is it located. Sorry for such a simple question but we are taking our first princess cruise on the Crown and was wondering about it. Thanks and also looking for some positive recent reviews also.
