Does anyone, please, have copies of the menu for the speciality dining venues on the Sun?

Well we didn't make it. As mentioned about, visa could be an issue. After talking with NCL, I got a no, maybe and not sure, you could check when you board. From what I read you can't board without a visa and why would you want to go to Cuba and stay on board.

When we booked our cruise 9/23, we paid for our visa thru NCL and were told we could get them when we got to the terminal. I don’t know how long I it takes, but I would call and see if it is still possible to get it thru the cruise line.

Question: Can you order drinks that aren't on the menu, such as a Pina Colada?

Does anyone have a good master packing list? I always seem to lose all the lists that I have printed.

That is a quite extensive list, but take what you feel you will need. The only advice I would have is remember that you may have to carry your carry on around ( before you sail) some times, most of the time, you can’t get into your cabin right away and you will have to drag it around with you until you can get into the room.

I don't think it works out to two doubles when you separate them. Maybe two slightly undersized twins to make a queen sized?

That is very true. And usually, when you get to in bed the beds are not quite all the way together, you can feel the split in the beds.

We raised 2 independent children and we feel we do not have to justify our choices.

Since you can now reserve specialty restaurants 120 days prior to your cruise, possible all those reservations spaces have been taken. Try calling NCL to see if they can make your reservations and if not, I would go to the restaurant reservations desk as soon as you embark the ship. I'm surprised that they are now forcing folks to take certain perks, as I thought you can decline any perk.

We were unable to book specialty restaurants, with the free meals that we got for being platinum. We had to wait until we were on the ship. It was only for the platinum perk.

This offer is for real, but, not if you are booked through Casinos at Sea.

A good tip is to put a cup of water in the freezer and let it freeze, then place a quarter on top of the ice in the cup. That way if there is a power outage, the quarter will have sunk to the bottom of the cup, and will be on the bottom even if the water refrezzes.

I have never seen either MD or DMD on any NCL ship. Also I have never seen vending machines. Maybe I just never looked hard enough.

We love the Aft facing balcony’s. We are booked in one for our Western Med.
