Does anyone know if the parking structure is started/completed?

Great review Jim. Was on the Indy in February, it was on of our favorite cruises so far. About the Solarium, I agree with you as we'll about the Allure Solarium. But wait until you get on the Anthem and see the Solarium on her. Was on the Quantum for the two night, and I think it is hands down the best looking so far.

Thank you for this awesome review. I enjoyed reading it and picked up many tips.
Great photos, but I still do not understand the photos of the promenade and then the spools of thread.
I cannot see what art you are referring to in the first photo that is actually spools.
@lyban check post #22 second pic of the art work with the wine glass above the R, that art work is made up of individual thread spools to make one big piece. Hope that helps.

The servers walking around selling them in what's like a reusable travel cup. You should be able to get one at the bar in a regular cup.
-
Yes, but if you get the Labadoozie that they walk around selling you will have to pay for the reusable cup it comes in.

The cheapest would be parking in the street near the hotels/car rental places. It will cot you a $35.00 ticket for not moving your car for street cleaning. There are signs on poles telling you which day and hours the street will be cleaned. Not the best but it is an alternative. I've had friends do it before with no issues.

we are looking at an anthem cruise may 2016. was wondering if there is a bar/lounge in the solarium?
There is one on the Quantum, Anthem should be no different. I'll let you know for sure next April.

Yet another vote for a frozen mojito!!!

Tables are set up for "English Blackball" (7 red/7 yellow/one 8 ball, one cue ball)
-
Friday night the all the tables were packed, even the Baccarat.

What?!! I find that very odd / hard to believe. Was anyone actually playing?
Thanks for your honest assessment thus far. I hope a lot of these issues will be sorted out as the crew gets some weeks under their belt.

Was on the 2 night as well. BJ started at $50, 100 and even $200 minimums! One baccarat table, ready for this, table minimum $300!!!!! And the confusing part there were 2/3 tables not being used. Roulette and craps $10.

Also can be used for the slot machines much like a casino rewards card. For the tables you'll have to hand it to the dealer. Overall liked the use of it.

Was there Thursday, place still looks like a mess. Reps said the parking structure will not be ready by November. I don't even think it has been started yet.

Ditto to the above. Out of site, out of mind. I would put them in the trunk if they fit. Enjoy your cruise!

If you walk south on Van Brunt St there will be several choices. Nothing fancy. Have eaten at Brooklyn Crab, good food, nice atmosphere, upper level over looks the harbor. It is approx. a 10 or so short block walk. You will pass the other places to eat walking towards it. Enjoy your cruise!

Congrats! Will be on the 2day also, but paid for mine:mad:

Thanks for the link. Those balcony rooms seem a little more spacious as do the others.

I disagree with the above or C&A made a mistake. My DW was platinum (37pts) and I was gold (16pts). Called C&A told them we were married and now I'm platinum with 37pts

What sites are you looking at?

ebay, amazon, fragrance. I write down prices before I go and if its cheaper in the Caribbean I usually buy it. But the last few times its been cheaper online.
-
Researching helps before you go, I find significantly cheaper prices online these days then in the ports.
-
Problem with jomashop is they do not offer factory warranties, they offer "their" warranty. Not 100% sure if its all or some brands of watches. I do admit though they have some good prices.

Thanks for answering questions! I have been asking a dumb one and I know some one on CC can help!! We will be leaving that same port on Quantum in February...will we see the Statue of Liberty? My family will be disappointed if we fly home from NY without passing by at least! If not, I need to book a post cruise tour! Thanks again! :)
Book a post cruise tour, when you leave the port you will see it but will not pass the Statue of Liberty. Sorry.

There are a lot of hotels and restaurants along the beach from E.Sunrise to SE 17th St. Shouldn't be that hard to find one. About a 15 minute ride to the port.
CAPE LIBERTY 411 (and NYC too) Version 4!!
