I think it happens to a lot of us including me, jumping in sometimes but not really meaning what we have said as to what we actually meant. Time to move on.:)
In Melbourne today (22 degrees) waiting to board the Golden on Sunday:D

Since we had the drinks package on our last cruise (and will have on our next cruise) it didn't really matter. If they short poured all that meant was that they would have to go and get us another glass of wine when we'd finished the first. ;) :D :D
How very true.:D

You are a special mum, all the best for your cruise.:D

We had coffee included at Cafe Al Bacio on our sailing on Eclipse in the summer of 2015.
I thought that too.

Update on this was open for lunch for port Arthur stop however not today for Hobart.
Re food quality. Compared with Po Australia which was my last cruise prior to this one it's light and days ahead on princess.
Princess food compared to princess cruises over the past couple of years on the cruises I have taken I haven't experienced a decline.
I eat most of my meals in the dining room where possible.
Thank's for that Sarah, glad the food is good.

I have to write a complete list and the tick it all off when packing.:D

Thank's will look forward to the next stage.

Thank's for the great review.

Yes please.:D

One thing that has been different is the Main dining room has been open on port days for lunch.
Thank's for that, may come in handy on days we do not have an excursion.

Getting off Explorer this morning in Syd. It was pretty rough last night.
Woke up regularly from the movement, sound of wind, rain & waves crashing. It didn't help that I had 6 beers, 4 cocktails & a champagne yesterday though ....
Of course not!;);)

Thank's Sarah,
Enjoy your day.

We were told when we booked a year ago by phone with Princess, that we would receive specialty vouchers as part of the 50th celebrations.
I just checked with Princess now and they confirmed that the vouchers for use on Golden in either Crown Grill or Sabatini's would be in our cabin when we board and there would be no additional payment required but also noted they were not related to Share.

Curious.... How is the wined poured into the glass? From the bottle or from a small carafe? Could see being off when poured from a bottle.
Good question?. I have been informed in the past from people in the hospitality industry, that most waiters sommeliers, have been trained to judge by the glass they are pouring including a bar person pouring a beer or such from tap. The bar person may use a carafe, not sure about that.

About a 3 - 5 oz. pour in MDR, if ordered by the glass.
So, just curious, why is that important to you?
Are you concerned what you are paying price per ounce?
And, does the size of the pour affect your enjoyment of the wine?
As you know, you can buy a bottle(s) of wine the first/any night in MDR. They will store it for you, and serve it to you until empty.
So if you purchased a beer and it was 3/4 full, that would be ok for you?, not me, and that goes for 5 ounce wine as well if I chose to have it by the glass. You should get what you pay for.

Hi Sarah,
Hope you enjoy Hobart, I lived there many years ago and re visited on Solstice 2 years ago, it is very stunning city.
Just wondered what some of the everyday MDR dishes are. TIA.

Asking for validation requests is all over most forums on CC. Never understood why, as you really need to make up your own mind on where you will travel. It can be very handy though to use these forums for tips and suggestions. I tend to learn something new every time I log in.:D
Fill in the blank: I will never _______ again!
