Many thanks for your help Flossie. I will chase our TA today.

Hi Flossie
Did you book direct with Regent or through a TA. We were booked on this cruise (through a TA) and requested full refund on the same day as you and have been quoted 90 days for our refund!
Thanks
Sandra

Very impressed with Regent's latest speed of refund:
Cruise date: 13 Nov 2020
Cancelled by Regent: 05 Oct 2020
Refund requested: 06 Oct 2020
Full refund back on credit card: 13 Oct 2020
We certainly were not expecting the money back so quickly since the refund acknowledgement included the standard sentence "Refund requests will be validated and refunds will be processed within 60 days of the request", so 7 days was most welcome 🙂
It must be our lucky week as British Airways also excelled when we cancelled the flights that we had booked independently - refund was received within 24hrs of us cancelling.
However, we would still like to get back to those halcyon days of travelling worldwide rather than going through these endless rounds of cancellations ................... let's hope things improve one day soon 🤔

We are also booked on 13th November Barcelona to Miami. We are from the U.K. and have a paid a 20% deposit so if we don’t make final payment if the cruise is not cancelled before the 60 day period (which is 14th September) we stand to loose a substantial amount of money. Extremely frustrating.

Many thanks everyone for your prompt responses. We’ll wait to see what Sept 14th brings.

They were....on the 26th.
Next one should be end of September....unless we hear from the CDC first.
Personal - I still feel April is 50/50.
Hi PcardadWith reference to your post above relating to November cancellations.
Regent cancelled September sailings at the end of June and October sailings at the end of July but on 26th August they only cancelled the Mariner World Cruise and November cruises are still showing as waitlisted.
If they are following the same pattern then November cruises should have been cancelled at the end of August.
We were due to sail on 13th November and our final payment is due on 15th September. We would be very upset if Regent took our final payment and then cancelled 2 weeks later.
Would you be able to find out what is happening and why they didn’t cancel November cruises at the end of August?
I would be extremely grateful for any information you are able to obtain.
Many thanks
Sandra
