On to the next store!

We visited this store because we had some pamphlet coupons for it!
-
My brother just being ... my brother *sigh*
Interesting rain gauge
-
I meant to take a picture of all the taffy, but the guy at the counter posed too LOL
Our delicious jalapeno cheddar popcorn ^^
Walking along to pier to some other shops
Walk by this statue:
-
We visited the 3 Tongass Trading Company stores (always full of cute little souvenirs)
We found another branch of the tasty popcorn shop we sampled at Skagway and bought some!
There store had some other treats available too
-
We slowly started to make our way back to the pier area and visited the shops in the area!
-
Love the pics! Alaska is in our blood, as we lived up there for three years.
Thanks! ^^
-
Some kayakers!
After leaving Creek Street, we walked continued exploring the town! We could see our ship's horn from where we were ^^
We got a sample of salmon jerky from that store hehe..
-
My relatives all taking a look at the stream from the viewing platform!
-
Cute structures on top of water!
Only like 2 fishes in the water :/
But there was a surprise visitor! A little seal!
-
We walked a little ways down ..
Down to Creek Street!
There's me on the right in the dark red sweater ^^

Kind of an odd question, but do any of these towns have antique stores? I am loving your review, so detailed and food looks so good. I need a snack now.:D
Haha thank you very much! Glad you're enjoying it ^^ & Errm I don't think I saw many antique stores, but I could be mistaken!

Your pictorial report reminds of our terrific Inaugural Alaskan DCL Wonder trip years ago. Can hardly wait - we board the Wonder again in 13 days (out of Galveston).
And yes, try Oceania for a real "foodie" cruise. We have cruised on the Marina, IMHO - the best food of any of the 8 cruise lines and 15 ships we have experienced.
That's great! ^^ Wow I hope you had fun! && Oo yes I definitely will recommend Oceania to my dad! ;)
-
Anxiously awaiting more!!! :D
Hope school is going well for you.
Haha thank you! Starting a new semester!

Saving my place....
Hi! :)
-
YAY! More fun!
Mary
Haha :D
-
The drinks listed at the top of the menu, is there an extra charge for those? DW and I have just booked our first Disney cruise on the wonder and really are enjoying learning about the line from your post!
Yes there are, every menu will have some sort of specialty drink at the top. Kind of disappointing haha. I hope you guys have a great time and find all the information you need from my report! Thanks for reading! :)
-
Thank you, Sarah, for continuing your report. It is appreciated.
David
Hi David! No problem, I'm glad you enjoy reading it. I will try my best to update when time permits. (Unfortunately I've also lost like 90 photos because one of my sd cards completely somehow short circuited/melted/died ... but I'll figure out a way to fill the gap..)

My oldest cousin wrote some postcards to send back home and had all of us kids draw some pictures around it :)
After lunch we headed off the ship and into Ketchikan!
-
Roasted Garlic Chicken:
(This one was quite nice too, the meat wasn't dry and the potato salad was good. 8.2/10)
Pan-Seared Pork Tenderloin:
(Pleasantly surprised that this one came out looking like chunks of steak :) and nice mushroom sauce too. 8.3/10)
Dessert time!
Lemon Cheesecake:
(Quite dense, not bad. Also refreshingly lemony. 7.9/10)
Raspberry Crème Brûlée:
(Didn't know if the crème brûlée itself was supposed to be flavoured, or it was just going to be fruits on top of it. I didn't taste much difference between this one and the normal one, but my mom insisted that it was indeed flavoured. 8.3/10)
Chocolate Roulade:
(I quite liked this chocolatey treat :) It's a normal chocolate roll cake filled with chocolate frosting and coated in chocolate. Fantastic. LOL 8.3/10)
Chocolate Brownie from the kid's menu ^^:
(This was actually pretty good LOL. It was like a cross between a brownie and a cake. 8.4/10)
-
Mulligatawny Soup:
(Quite interesting, didn't know what mulligatawny soup was, but apparently it was a kind of curry-like soup. Not bad. 8.0/10)
Mixed Leaves:
(Yeah, I don't really care for salads like these. They look so sad and dry LOL. Those chunks that look like dry meat was actually eggplant hahaha. 7.0/10)
Ziti Pasta:
(Pretty good, cooked al dente with chunks of bacon-like meat. 8.3/10)
Cajun-Spiced Mahi Mahi Sandwich:
(Not bad, the fish was a bit dry though. The potato chips and dip were nice. My brother though it was funny was they left it as an open-faced sandwich ^^. 7.9/10)
Teriyaki-Marinated Fillet of Cod:
(Very soft, not dry at all. Nice rice noodle topping ^^ 8.2/10)
Our usual side bowl of Potato Chips:
-
So apparently everyone decided that we'd eat lunch before getting off the ship, since we docked later than usual. Here was today's lunch menu at Triton's!
Rings, rings everywhere!
Crispy Calamari Rings:
(These were very tasty! Nicely crispy and a nice tangy sauce to go with it. 8.3/10)
Tropical Fruit Timbale:
(Nice fruits, refreshing. 7.8/10)
Emmental Leek Quiche:
(Quite good, imagine it kind of like an egg pie? Slightly spongy, kind of bouncy, but not bad. 7.9/10)
Chilled Raspberry Soup:
(Nice fruit smoothy in a bowl. 8.0/10)

Before long, we pulled up to port!
Some people disembarking as soon as we parked!
Mirror selca! ^^ (Happily wearing my suspenders/skirt combo~)
