May I ask a favor? Would you check with Guest Services and see if they have Chilean and Peruvian currency to be able to break larger bills into smaller ones? Sometimes when I get foreign currency from my bank, they are not able to provide small bills that you could use for tips and small purchases. I would greatly appreciate it since we board the Oosterdam in BA on 3/5.

I'm late to this too!  Did you stay overnight on the ship in Buenos Aires? If so, was there a tango show for entertainment (like the hula show in Papeete)? Did you need cash in BA or just used credit card. Can you walk from the ship to Recoleta?  Thanks for all the good pics.  We leave March 4 for the same trip.

Sambamama - since you're planning your cruises for next year, maybe you could update those of us that gave you tour deposits in cash for the cancelled fall cruise.  We have not had an update from you since early this month.  Thanks

Have you guys noticed that Port of FLL has both ships departing at 17:00 tomorrow?  Maybe a temporary time schedule?

The meeting just ended, but I missed most of the discussion.  Got a feeling they agreed to let the ships come in?

Never had that issue. Send an email directly to them and get their policy. Or find someone else to fill that spot. Good luck.

Okay, after much research I have decided to use italytoursharing.com (akd Joe Banana Limo) I am going to book 3 ports to get the discount and then post on the roll call from what I am reading. The reviews are excellent for this Italy Company and I have a friend that used this company as well. He loved them.

 

My question on here, is do you ever have trouble filling the tours? I dont want to sign up and then not get "8" on each tour?

Had no trouble filling the tour at all. And the fact that you don't have to make all the confirmations, etc makes Joe Banana perfect for putting a group together. You can get the names and email addresses of all who sign on, too, so that you can make arrangements to meet onboard before disembarkation. Top notch company.
