  1. I got the soda package for my grandsons do they have to use the provided cup when you sign up at each site or can they get a glass or paper cup? They will not keep up with carrying a special cup around for entire cruise. Can they get soft drinks from waiters around the pool, and in the dinning room and the theater?

  2. Looking at taking family to mr. Santos beach club in Cozumel. Reviews seem to be very good think family will enjoy all the activities all in one place, wave runners, quads, horse back, all inclusive food and drink for a reasonable price. Is it as nice as it shows on you tube? How do you rate it? Cruising in June on Allure.

  3. When I booked our time for comedy show it would not let me include my grandsons a message came up saying must be 17 to attend. Is this enforced can they get in as we could not make reservations for them. We are on the Allure is the early evening show that adult and vulgar?

  4. Alli What did you find that was different?

    Mark,

My husband and I took the plunge and booked the Divina because we heard it is DIFFERENT from the current ships on the market. After numerous cruises over the last 15 years we felt the lines have gotten a bit 'stale' and we're looking for something a little different.

    Kevin,

I guess it's been a while since you've been on Princess. We've done two trips with her this year, just got off the Ruby 2 weeks ago. They have changed their policy and you are allowed 2 bottles of wine...all others will be charged a surcharge. You can peruse the Princess boards to catch up on the conversations.

Of course you could smuggle a case onboard...but lets not turn this thread into an alcohol smuggling rant.

Mark, enjoy whatever cruise you finally choose!!

  5. Thanks for all the repo cues to my questions. How many specialty restaurants are there?

Are they a flat fee or ala carte? Which ones have anyone experienced, what do you reccomend?

On all other cruise lines we have been allowed to bring aboard 2 bottles of wine per cabin to be used for personal use or pay corkage in the dining room for a special wine my wife and I enjoy.

I have seen on other lines people bringing on cases of water and sodas

Do the showers have a curtain or doors?

Is there a wine list available to view online?

Thanks again for ant information you provide.

  6. My wife and I have cruised many times with the other lines, we are thinking about trying MSC Divinia this August. We have heard and read on board this line is not like the others as far as food, staff, and service. I have a few questions about MSC.

Can you bring the usual two bottles of wine on board at departure?

Do the have a drink package that can be purchased and how much is it?

Food is it as bad as the posters state even the CC review staes food leaves alot to be desired.

Do you have to make reservations for the shows?

    Do they have anytime dining?

We look forward to your replies from those that have been on board this ship.

    Thanks
