I took my 9 month old son with my wife on a cruise and it's a challenge. From a male's point of view, I would recommend keeping the baby at home if you can. You can always call home and check in as much as you want. Anniversaries are very important milestone and the few days on a cruise with your significant other will be good for the both of you.

Everything except Fosters I think
-
U might want to confirm with Royal Caribbean, but I don't think you can purchase it for certain days. I think it's an all or nothing type deal.
-
Oh ok not for me then since I don't drink coffee.
-
I'm 32 and the premium package was enough for me! What's the ultimate package include?
-
If you get the premium drink package you can order whatever u want! I had it on my last cruise and I was able to order shots, but only one at a time.
-
Fortunately last year when I cruised with my wife they didn't require her to buy any alcohol package since she doesn't drink at all. She doesn't even drink enough of juices or soda to get the lowest package. I will just stick to the premium package and buy whatever she wants.

Good luck and my prayers go out to you and your family!

Lol great idea!! Personally, if the cruisers had more common courtesy the cruise experience would be a lot better. Royal Caribbean can only do so much.
-
Yea I definitely understand the business side of things. A little common courtesy goes a long way these days. If I were to smoke which I don't, I would just leave the table and go outside because I'm aware that everyone doesn't smoke. That's just me
-
I agree with the no smoking in the casino. My wife and I enjoy gambling, but we don't smoke and we both can't stand the smell of smoke. Great idea!

Being in law enforcement myself, I would love to see more security patrolling the ship. Unfortunately, some people do horrible things onboard ships and I want to feel safe and protected while I'm on vacation. I've never had any problems personally, but you can never have too much security personnel.

I agree with the wings idea. Nothing better than an ice cold beer and wings to go with that.
You're right they should enforce the rules, but as adults that pay good money to go on cruises we shouldn't have to be told to follow the rules especially with kids around, but sadly some adults don't follow the rules and could care less about anyone else.
-
Being adults we should police ourselves. A 10-12 year old and an infant in an adult area is terrible parenting but not the full fault of royal Caribbean. It's a vacation so I'm sure they don't want to go around reminding people of rules 24/7

Lol I understand ur concerns but people will always complain about something. Can't satisfy everyone I guess. All I know is I don't have to cook or clean did the days I'm on the cruise. I'm satisfied with that and anything else is a bonus.

The windjammer stats open pretty late. 24 hours would be a bit much and food would be wasted. Room service is available after hours and you can always get pizza or a sandwich.
-
I've never had any real complaints about RC. Leaving the ship is probably the worst thing, but if you're patient you'll get through it.
I would like for them to add a Phillips Seafood Restaurant on board. I love seafood and would love if this happened. Also more team games like dodgeball and maybe even flip cup for the adults over 21.

I went in may of this year by the way on Majesty.
-
When I had my drink package, they didn't allow me to have the souvenir glass. Things may have changed since then
-
Full price unless you have a drink package
-
You have to pay again unless you have the drink package. I've had the premium package before and souvenir glasses aren't included.

No eye rolling over here I'm just stating the facts and it's a fact that you can't do the same things with an infant while you're on a cruise. When my wife and I go cruising we do it to enjoy ourselves which every parent needs to do. We go on an adults only trip once a year and we deserve it. You're not a bad parent if you leave your kid at home or take them with you. It's a choice!
