We are beginner snorkelers and my DH is a bit nervous having his face in the water. He really enjoyed snorkeling with my brother in law from Barefoot Beach ; not crowded - we brought our own snorkel gear

If you could book a hillside or standard cabana at Barefoot Beach or an OTW at Nellie’s beach, which would you choose? Or just try to get a lounge chair in the shade? Last cruise on Oasis we had an OTW at Barefoot & it was great for reducing sun exposure and because we had family traveling with us.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions/input! cb at sea - Great idea - we don't always do formal excursions for each port but just having an idea of what is available is a good suggestion. I've already looked up some things for Costa Maya and I'll check out Cozumel too since some of the current itinerary changes have included these.

We'll be on the Allure sailing November 12, Eastern Caribbean. Really looking forward to being on this beautiful ship and the relaxation of cruising. It seems like RC may be leaning toward keeping the original ports for this sailing, but I'm still feeling "wait and see". Just wanting to see what others are doing about planning excursions, specialty restaurants, etc. If ports may be changed closer to the cruise date and even the days/times we visit certain islands may be different, I'd rather hold off on planning to avoid having to make a lot of last minute changes.

I agree- the reason we booked this particular cruise was for the St Thomas stop. It is interesting that we received this email 2 days after final payment was due . Guess it's just a fluke because it appears letter were sent out for cruises from August- December 2017. At least the later November & December cruisers will have the opportunity to cancel their cruises & rebook for another cruise (or choose a different vacation altogether- fly to St Thomas) if they should choose. I think we would do that- just fly to St Thomas/St John.
