  1. When we went in October there was a good eats section where the tandoor was during the day! Was open from 11-1 I wanna say! The food was ok for late night snacks nothing really spectacular (chili cheese hot dogs and fries a few other hot items and some cookies) but that was really it!

  2. I have cruised both! Each was 8 days splendor from NYC and Breeze from Miami! Now the breeze does have 2.0 which is nice, guys and the blue iguana are really all we cared about! But splendor is much less crowded! We felt very crowded on breeze! Liked the layout of breeze better, but the buffet still gets jammed up and if your in the blush dinning room and show up early it's gets tight! Loved the decor on breeze better then the splendors pink donuts! Both are going to be fun! I think it comes down to what u wanna use on the ship! And by the way rottan is amazing! Loved the beach there!

  3. I have sailed both out of Miami liberty last year and breeze this year! Both cruises were awesome, liberty was western and breeze southern! Both are 2.0 only differences here is liberty has EA sports bar and alchemy bar! But breeze has waterworks and sports square! My big difference was the breeze feels crowded in my opinion, the buffet feels a mess, it is hard to find seats. Also I liked the idea of the wrap around lanai but I did not like the fact that you can see much when docking or leaving port, the windows are so high I fell for no reason! Now I did have a room on deck 1 all the way aft on breeze and you can feel the vibrations when they start the thrusters, it actually woke me up 2 times! The liberty I had a lido inside which was amazing, so close to the action! I hope this helps you decide! Both really are great ships it just comes down to what is more important to you on vacation!

  4. Thank you for your reply. I don't think we will miss the couch...guess we shall see.

You'll be fine we only would of liked it because we had friends over to our cabin and there is like no where to sit when u get 5-6 people in there

  5. I was wondering if anyone has recent experience with the L-shaped cabins on the Glory, specifically cabin 7434 and 7439. I need to know if the beds can be separated?

    Thanks!

Did an L shaped balcony on splendor almost the same! We had the beds separate! Loved that room the balcony was amazing! The only thing I would of liked would be the couch, they give you a chair but it's not the same

  6. I sailed last November in 7443 (L shaped) and the balcony was amazing, double the size and it's nice and quiet in the aft! I've never stayed in a spa cabin but I do have family members who did on the Breeze! It all comes down to what u want? Are u going to use the spa? If not I would chose the L shaped balcony!

  7. The games will be as said already in your room and in the bars! But will not be on the seaside theater! They removed it from those screens because they said people don't want to watch it there! Which I completely disagree with!

  8. Carnival is pulling out of NYC for the late fall and winter months due to bad sales! There sending the Splendor to Miami to run 7 day eastern western to cover the conquest which is going to port Everglades for the freedom!

  9. Since you'll be solo you can go to the solo gatherings every evening, and since you're b2b you'll meet a bunch of new people on the sailings. I don't think you'll get bored, you will be going to different ports, plus you don't have to get off the ship if there is a repeat.

I would go for it! :D

Thanks for the input I'm really considering this trip!! And there is no repeat ports so that's a plus, which I think I'll be fine! I'm really looking forward to the 8 sea days! Just relaxing and not worrying about anything at all!

  10. Hello everyone i'm currently looking at booking the Breakaway for next December for a total of 19 day's!!! This would combine the 7 day Bahamas itinerary with the 12 day Caribbean itinerary, And I am wondering for anyone who has done this b2b or just the 12 day, Did u get bored? is there enough to do? I am considering going solo just because im 22 and all my friends are either working full time or in college and cant afford to go, so I am set on getting a studio. Now I know ill be fine meeting people, having fun and relaxing. My over all question comes to how did u like the breakaway for 12 days straight?
