  1. Here are the useless replies I get. I speak and read German so language is not a problem. They are just not interested in helping. Too bad. Now I will post this on CC and they will suffer for it (maybe). The problem had nothing to do with MSC per se. It was a bus company. I just wanted to let a responsible person at MSC know what they did and how they treated their customers. Note that I will be cruising again with MSC in April but will drive myself to the port as opposed to paying MSC to get me there (#lost revenue).

  2. I have the same problem over here in Germany. I had a problem with a contracted bus company that took us to Venice for our cruise on the Fantasia last June. After working through our travel agent they said to contact MSC since they are the ones that provided the transportation. I have only recieved standard canned Email replies stating that they are too busy to help and to wait until the busy time of year is over and they will get back to me. I started this last summer...

  3. When we cruised MSC last summer (Fantasia) we used the card that we reserved the cruise with. We settled the bill at the end of the cruise. There were no issues or surprises. Note that you will probably get charged 1 euro per person for a charity (UNICEF?). Overall it was quite easy.

I am unfamiliar with what a Cash Passport is.

  4. We did not drink wine at dinner when we were on the Fantasia last summer but I remember that they did serve our table mates by serving from bottles. I am unsure what drink package they had. In any case, the Allegrissimo lets you choose from 3 or four reds, a couple of whites and a sparkling wine if I recall correctly.

We had the Allegrissimo and ordered soft drinks, bottled water, and whiskey at dinner with no problem.
