I’ve read several threads on here about those of you who have successfully used Ebates to earn cash back on your cruises. My question is does the cruise have to be paid in full at the time of booking to earn the max amount of cash back? Or is the cash back just based on the value of the cruise and you can pay it off by final payment but still receive full cash back value?

I didn't know if anyone had noticed, but Carnival's website is having a flash sale ending tonight on sailings in September. I'm going in January so no good for me. If you do have the Early Saver rate booked for September, I'm assuming you can price match if you find a lower price during this flash sale?

Does anyone know how much it costs to upgrade to the deluxe package?

I am considering booking the Dream for January 2019, and a Havana inside on the Horizon for January 2020. My question is should I wait to book the Havana for when I am on the Dream this coming January? The only main advantage I see to booking on the ship in advance is the 2 category upgrade from inside to inside, etc. I am not sure if this upgrade will apply to the Havana cabins or if it is in its own class. Please let me know if you have been able to get a category upgrade to Havana cabins!

I know there are other perks to booking in advance, such as some minor obc and lowered deposit. But those perks seem to be offered all the time during their sales.
