  1. My question is about my air flight, it is not showing up in my vacation summary. When I had a PCC at Carnival she would go over the flight with me and if I did not care for what she was offering she changed the times for me. So do NCL's PCC's not do this?

  2. I have only cruised Carnival, I am platinum there. I sailed several times without a Vacation Planner. But chose to get one when I went to Europe. Carnival does things differently and it has helped having one. For example today I needed to ask a question and it has taken forever to get through to NCL. If I had a PCC from NCL I would email them and they can usually get right back to me (I hope). I know how to do everything online, but it is nice when you ask questions or need to make changes on your booking.

sorry dear, but why would you need a vacation planner, unless youre referring to a small booklet to keep notes and memos in.

if youre booked on an ncl cruise already, log onto my ncl, view cruise, and then click on excursions. it will give you a list by ports and prices, as well as a relatively nice description of each excursion, you can click on dining, entertainment, drinks, and other goodies and decide for yourself. what you want to do and see.

you definitely "DO NOT"! need some stranger to plan this for you. this site (cruise critic ncl forum) has loads of seasoned travelers, who would be more than happy to give you information and tips about places they've been, things they've seen and done both on and off the ship.

as far as your 1st ncl cruise:  "Seek and ye shall find"

by the way, indicating  you are a carnival cruise lover wont get you many points here (lol)

Yes, I figured my username might hurt me here, lol.

  4. I have a cruise planned for the Fantasy in Sept. I have been on large ships and small ones. And loved them both. The worse ship I have every been on was the old Holiday ship, it was really bad when I was on it. But, that was my favorite cruise, I really had so much fun. The service on the ship was great. So plan on having fun and you will.

  5. To the "lady" who took my Yeti cup from the Casino restroom on the April 9 Carnival Freedom. Obviously you don't know about the curse inflicted on those who dare to steal a treasured Yeti.

You will gain 40 pounds. (One for each $ I paid for the cup.)

Your butt will double in size.

Your feet will swell and you'll get a cold sore every time you drink from it.

Your teeth will turn yellow and crack.

Your hair will turn gray and fall out.

You'll sprout a black mustache and chin hairs.

The next time you find an item on a cruise, do the honorable thing and turn it in to lost and found and I might consider lifting the curse.

I blame myself for being so stupid when I left it unattended for 5 minutes. I used to have trust in my fellow cruisers, never again.

I'm having the new one engraved with "STOLEN FROM (my name)" and it will never get to enjoy cruising!

    This is great!!!:D

  6. I sailed on the holiday on one of its last cruises out of Mobile Alabama. Although I have to say it was one of the worst ships I have ever been on, the cruise itself is one of my favorites. I had so much fun, service was great, food was great had lots of fun, never laughed so much in my whole life. But the ship itself with vibrating constantly I thought it was ugly but I loved that cruise. I was with a few others and it was their first cruise. They thought she was beautiful. So ot was just me. She was not my first. I like the large and the small ships. I just love cruising.

  7. From Cruise Critic

    Spa and Fitness

Carnival Vista will host a two-deck Cloud 9 Spa. Inside spa lovers will find a thalassotherapy pool (a seawater pool infused with minerals), four steam chambers, and the line's first infrared sauna and Turkish bath. Also in the spa is a selection of sensory showers that can be programmed with a variety of water, sound, sight and scent settings. The spa also will host a high-tech indoor cycling studio. At the back of Deck 12, cruisers will find the fitness center.

The adults-only Serenity retreat will be located all the way forward on Deck 14 and will feature expansive views, comfortable lounging options, a made-to-order salad bar and the line's first outdoor massage huts.

  8. I am flying with the fly2fun program. Booked my flight a couple of months ago. Don't cruise on the Vists till September. Was able to chose my seats by calling the airlines a couple of days later. No problem. I have gone online and changed our seats a couple of times. Always looking for the best ones. We have a great flight. Saved $500 per person booking through Carnival. I wonder if it dspends on the airline wheather or not you can go ahead and pick your seats. We will be on Delta. We had not paid anything on the flight when we picked our seats.

  9. I just upgraded to deck 11 spa room for a cheaper price than my inside on deck 8. There are 3 of us (adults). So only two of us will be able to have use of the spa. Does anyone know how much it will cost for the 3rd person to receive access. I thought we might get a discount since the 3rd person is already booked in a spa room.
