Greetings, I have not found a roll call for this sailing nor any sailings adjacent to this date. Therefore, I am starting a roll call whereby we can share tips, plans, information or anything else helpful for a winter 7 day cruise in the Mediterranean. We are from Seattle, flying in to Rome a few days early to see what we can see. No hotel as of yet, dithering between staying at the port and taking train back and forth or staying in Rome and then moving to port the night before. We have never cruised on MSC but have cruised on many other cruise lines. Looking forward to soaking in the European culture and fun times.

Thank you, that is helpful, particularly the price and the fact it is italian. So often we get very poor coffee in the buffets (other cruise lines) and lipton teas. I am a tea snob for sure. First time on MSC so trying to be as prepared as prepared can be. thanks you again.

I realize I am far out from this review which I love as it is so helpful for us non YC people but I do have a question I am hoping that can be answered. What beverages are served in the buffet and the regular dining rooms? tea, coffee, juices, sodas? and brands of tea and coffee if you know what they are? I am from starbucks country and need to figure out if we bring our own teabags and instant starbucks coffees. We do not buy. beverage packages as we are non alcohol drinkers. Thanks for your help.

The prices are a little higher than the normal Seattle Starbucks. We ordered one tea latte and one quad espresso each day. the daily price was 12.72. I was allowed to use my Starbucks phone app to pay for drinks so I did get the starbucks points. it is a real starbucks venue, not a grocery store type. Hope that helps.
