I agree, they will not hold your luggage overnite either coming our going. To use this service you must be going directly to the airport that day your cruise ends.

You can gamble at 18 unless you're doing an Alaskan or Hawaiian cruise. All of Europe, the Med, or Caribbean is 18 to gamble. 21 to drink.

On Princess, even if you are sailing in the Caribbean, you must be 21 to gamble or drink. In port, you can hit the casinos at 18, but onboard, you must be 21 to both drink or gamble. And I am pretty sure RCI, NCL and Carnival have the same rules. ;)

The largest pod of dolphins we have ever seen from a ship was sailing out of NYC (believe it or not). There had to be 100 of them and they would go from port to starboard underneath the ship like they were playing.

We have seen a few sailing past Christmas Island in the South Pacific, but we have yet to see any sailing to the eastern or western Caribbean. Good Luck though!

I will be booking an overnight tour for March but was wondering if it was Nile Blue Tours or Nile Blue Excursions? :confused:

On our Alaska cruise tour, we were only allowed a carry on, no checked bags. Now, this could have changed, but our carry on was all that we were allowed to bring on the train. All checked bags were stored and then taken directly to the ship. The carry on had to fit under our seat on the train.

I hope you checked lost and found onboard? I actually got lucky last cruise, mine was turned into the purser's desk and I got it back. I still can't figure out how it escaped from my purse as I never took it out, but it was gone when I went to reach for it.

Yes they are updated.....our last cruise we received an upgrade after the 5 day cut off.....i printed new luggage tags and boarding pass at that time and they had the correct room on them.

Exactly. We had a change in cabin three days before sailing last cruise so I had to go into the PDF file and print new luggage tags as the Personalizer was already locked, not problem at all accessing them. ;)

I don't know what day or what times the meetings are, but they are on EVERY ship for every cruise. Enjoy!

Do we need a visa if we are just there for one day? We will be staying on the ship at night

Princess took care of our Visa's for us, we didn't have to do a thing. Even if not going on an overnite, the visa was still needed.

I did a google search and it didn't pull up anything. My guess, it is more or less a keepsake item then an item of extreme value. But you never know, someday it could be valuable or show up on EBay. ;)

Try the Grand Princess 14 day Caribbean sailing out of Fort Lauderdale. Unless they have changed the itineary it used to stop in Trinidad.

Edited, I just checked and it doesn't seem to stop there anymore. Actually it was our very least favorite port in the entire world, so that is a good thing in my opinion. It is one reason we have not booked this 14 day Caribbean sailing again, but now I might have to look into it again. ;)

Ok - we are in. Just bought 100 shares at $32.35 - getting ready to fax the info to Princess for our July 21st cruise....yeah!!!

 

I used Ing Direct Sharebuilders and did it all online...pretty easy....I figure with just the cruises we have booked so far (3) we will be getting $600 OBC in uner 2 years - great return on the investment.

Is it too late to purchase stock to get the benefit now? My cruise leaving July 29 (13 days cruise), I have 30 days before it sail. If I brought the stock in a few days, will I be able to get the benefit for my July 29 cruise (OBC $100).

It's not too late to purchase the stock, but keep in mind that last I checked it was over $32 a share and you need 100 shares to get the credit. So, unless you plan on a long term investment or cruise often, I would not even consider paying that price for CCL stock right now.

Waste of time. You have to tender to a sand spit. Next time we will stay on the ship. I can enjoy my food better when it doesn't have sand in it. This is just my opinion.

It's a beach day, a private island beach day. Where you expecting something more? We have visited many private islands for again 'a beach day' and expected what was advertised, a beach. ;) Princess doesn't control the wind for water sports..................but if you find a private island that does, please share it with all of us as I for one would love to visit it. ;)

They should all be listed on your excursions for Princess Cays on our booking. There is a charge for those types of activities, they are not included. Check your booking online and once the excursions are open for your cruise, they will have them all listed there. ;) Enjoy!

Thanks for the quick replies! I must have gotten confused between the"2 for 1 coupon" for the coffee card and the actual card. I guess there is no date on the card. That information helps in my decision. Thanks:D

I thought that might have led to this question, since there is always so much discussion about the expiration date of the 'coupons'. ;)

The coffee cards don't presently expire, but the coffee card coupons do. The ones out there now (given by TA's for 2 for the price of one coffee cards) expire at the end of this year. But the cards purchased with them have no expiration date right now.

Not my biggest win on a ship, but last week I hit a small progressive on the quarter poker slots on the Emerald Princess for $1400. It was nice to take some and not just give give give.................:)

I did a bit of checking this morning, and some of these flight prices are very good for next spring. Even around cruise dates the RT economy fare was $988.60 per person. In the past, when ATN had a sale, they rarely were around cruise dates without a lenghy pre or post cruise stay. But this time, for instance, the February 21st sailing, returning on March 3rd, yes $988.60 per person, with the same price a few days before or after. Even someone wishing to do a B2B from February 21st to March 13th the price was the same $988.60. I haven't seen this low of a price around cruise dates in some time from ATN. Way to go ATN! :) :)
