Ultimately, check the invoice online. If it does not have a zero balance due, call Carnival immediately.
-
You can buy cruise cash prior to sailing using the gift cards. Works as OBC.
-
They no longer show when they are sold out, or if the vendor cancels. Carnival should be able to give you a summary.

Sitka Tour
in Alaska
We just finished a two-hour tour with Captain Brad Wheeler of Sitka Nautical Tours. $160ish per person for on the water animal life tours. We saw whales, sea otters, sea lions, and so many fish! The boat holds up to 6 people and the captain is great!

They are sister ships. However, some changes were made to Viva. The last time I checked, not everything had been announced. I know the thermal suite is different.
I believe both the Prima and Viva have promo videos that will help you.

Thanks, but we made our selection after I posted.

We are on the Viva for our TA. Thanks for the responses.

La Cuchina has an antipasti that is a charcuterie board. I really enjoyed it on the Bliss a couple weeks ago.

On TAs, will the ship use their standard main dining menus with each one repeating once?

Pack some throw blankets and be comfy knowing you have them.

Is there a thread that discusses the 3rd ship in this class? I did search and didn’t see anything.

It looks like our temps in Ensenada for our trip the third week of March will have us in the upper 60s. We booked a snorkeling tour and I am concerned that it will not be warm enough for this. Thoughts from the group?

@Gardyloo, would it be practical to walk from The Mayflower to the Space Needle or other nearby tourist areas?

Anything is possible, but I doubt someone would cancel this close, unless it was same day because of a missed flight (which happens quite a bit)
if this happens, obviously, you wouldn’t be able to book it online you would have to rely on the bid system, so push that last minute bid up high and you may get lucky.
I'm on the escape this coming Saturday so if that’s the cruise your on, hope to see you in the Haven with us 😉
It happens on occasion. People cancel due to illness or emergencies.

Wasn't really asking for myself but just wondering as I take hubby along.😉 That doesn't seem right to me but...
the cruise line will charge double because it’s a rate based on double occupancy and what they would get anyway.

@sid_9169 when you buy standard drip Starbucks, how much is the non-beverage package price?

Do you know if I have to book through NCL for a day room to use my transfer?
-
I suspect it's NCL's shuttle versus the hotel shuttle?

There are 4 of us, we have to be at the airport by 6:30pm . We will have roughly 6 suitcases and 4 personal bags.
I have looked at private tour options as well. I will scour the US Homeports thread to see if there are recommendations.

Has anyone taken the post cruise excursion offered by NCL in LA? Thoughts?

If you don't like the liver, ask for the entree without it.

Thanks for the link info. It is listed under my summary for my Jan. 15 sailing coming up and my Aug. sailing. The caveat in my case is DW prefers water from the tap, go figure. 🙂 Will print a copy of the summary to bring along. I did notice in one post above that this only applies after Jan. 1. When I click on "Click Here for details." in the summary that page doesn't include the water.
I believe it says not included on sailings after 1/1/23.

If the waves are high one ship may dock. The second ship docking would wash patrons from the pier as they try to dock with the waves crashing between the ship and the dock.
