  1. I've had success getting 3 price reductions for my Enchanted Princess cruise in August 2024. I also booked directly with Princess. My final payment date isn't until May 2024. I notice the price drops and called in each time and did not have any problem getting the reduced price. Total savings for me was $668.00 CAD.

  2. My experience with UDP on Wonder Transatlantic. We were the first group boarding, went straight to Giovanni's and even then I couldn't get venues and times I wanted. I was able to make most of my bookings but not the times and dates I wanted and couldn't get the lunches I wanted. The couple of lunches I was able to booked were canceled and I couldn't rebook anything else. I was NOT able to make any changes throughout the cruise for any dinner reservations, I was always told everything is booked. I will never get the UDP ever again.

  3. We choose to Fly to Honolulu 5 days before our Ovation of the Seas Cruise so this allows us to spend about a week in Hawaii between the 3 Islands before the Pacific crossing to Vancouver. 5 days in Honolulu, 2 days in Maui and the one day (9hrs) in Kona. Hopefully this give us a good taste of the Islands. If not I guess we'll just have to go back 😀

02 MAY HONOLULU, OAHU, HAWAII (Departs 9PM)

03 MAY LAHAINA, MAUI, HAWAII (Arrive 7AM)

04 MAY LAHAINA, MAUI, HAWAII (Departs 9PM)

05 MAY KAILUA KONA, HAWAII (Arrive 7AM, Depart 4PM)

Fog and delays in the Tampa port aren't daily events in the Winter season causing cruise ship delays.  Some people don't like to leave from Tampa because ship size is smaller than the mega ships leaving from elsewhere in Florida.  Fine.  To each her/his own choice.

Thank you for this confirmation, reading the other posts I was worried that I would miss my flight home because it seemed like fog was the norm… We board Brilliance on Jan. 30th - Feb 5th. I know we cannot predict what Mother Nature has in store for us but it’s nice to hear this issue is possible not probable.

I can explain my scenario for our October 28th TA on Wonder. My wife was using her iPhone app and it stated check in was Sep 14th, my Android phone app stated Sept 15th.

At 6PM on Sept. 14th our Checkin was available. My thoughts, both apps were kind of right. 6PM in Eastern Time zone on Sept 14th is 12AM on the 15th in Spain.

Correction… too late to edit. My cruise is on October 30th. The 28th is in my mind because that is the day we leave 😀

  7. On our May 1st cruise, the first Oasis cruise from Bayonne this year we were directed to the outside lot and they handed us a ticket to pay when we leave...

Good news is we were on B2B and when we left the terminal on May 15 the outside pay terminals were not functioning. There was someone with a mobile phone processing the payments. I handed my ticket and credit card and didn't notice till later that day that I was only charged for one week.

Currently onboard Oasis of the Seas (May 1-8th) and will be staying on for the next cruise (May 8-15th). I'll let you know what we need to do for our B2B as soon as I find out (I should know later today).

Guest services said no testing required for our back-to-back. I'll post back later if anything changes

Just read a couple of posts about testing between B2B cruises on RCL cruises. It appears that they are eliminating the testing between the cruises but I can’t find any official notice on the RCL site. Has anyone seen anything official or is it only on certain ships? We have an European B2B in August.

  10. Ephesus is a must.

Be aware vendors at the terminal are extremely aggressive. One crew member told us the key is to walk through wearing earbuds or headphones that are visible, some will just ignore you thinking you cannot hear them.

The biggest issue was being escorted off the bus after Ephesus tour and told we will have tea and cookies, they brought us into a carpet store and we were stuck there for 30-45 minutes while being highly pressured into purchasing their hand made carpets. They did served us the tea and cookies, were harmless but some older people were very uncomfortable because there was only one door in and out and they were blocking it until they were done.

  11. Update...

I've been very sick this week, It got worse as the week went on. Today is my best day. For me it was much worse than just a cold, it was like a severe flu. Never had a fever, very sore throat, very congested, severe headaches. My wife continues to test negative, I started testing negative a couple of days ago.

I did notify Royal Caribbean in my survey. Wasn't sure  of any other way to let them know but honestly don't think they care once you're off the ship.

So Glad to be done with this #$%#, will have so much less to worry about in May when we cruise again.
