  1. As far as Military benefit.  Check it out because I have done a couple of B2B and received the total $250.00 for the entire voyage and not just $100.00 both ways.

Very important: Check with the Casino cashier the final night of the first cruise, as you must clear your casino account before the second cruise or you will loose the money.  You will then have to set up a new account for the second cruise.

  2. It may be:

Convenient parking facilities for our cruise passengers are:
    Well-illuminated

    Security-patrolled

But just like any parking garage or hotel lot, any damages to your vehicle are not the responsibility of the garage owner.  You accept full responsibility when you drive into the garage or lot.

I learned this the hard way at a Hyatt near Detroit.

  3. We have always tipped the porter $10.00 for the two bags we drop off.

When we used the wheel chair, we would tip $5.00 each for the in terminal assistance and for the gangway assistance.

My wife now has her own scooter and the assistance inside the terminal and up the gangway is no longer required.

  4. We were in L108 for a b2b and it was a great room.  Your layout will be just opposite of what we had(instead of left yours will be right.

When you walk in there were a couple of closets along the left wall.  The bathroom entrance was on the right; and your desk will be on the left beyond the closets.  To the right past the bathroom entrance was a couch, table and television.  The balcony doors were straight ahead.  If you make a right and walk past the couch, you will enter the bedroom, there is a curtain between the two rooms if you want to use it.  There is a large window which looks out the front of the ship, and an additional television.  They will ask that at night you keep the curtains to the front window closed when the lights in the room are on because it interferes with the bridge view.

    I hope this helps you.

  5. According to motorized rides web site:

The Price of Mobility Scooter Rentals

Different shops will have different prices but they typically fall into the same range with good consistency.

    • For a daily rental, mobility scooters can be rented for about $30 a day.
    • For weekly rental, mobility scooters can be rented for about $125 per week.
    • For a monthly rental, mobility scooters can be rented for about $300 a month.

These prices will be determined by what kind of model you choose, how many accessories it has, whether or not it is considered heavy-duty, etc.

  6. I understand that those who need to fly to a port don't have many options, in  fact when we where planning a trip to Alaska leaving from San Francisco, we were going to rent.

We do not ask for or get HA (accessible cabins) when we cruise.  We always get balcony or mini suites.  With the width of the 4 wheel Driver Scooter being 19.5", my wife has no problem going in and out of the room.

  7. You did not mention why you needed an electric conveyance vehicle for your cruise but if you will continue cruising or going on vacations or shopping trips I would suggest that you look into buying one.   Amazon or other suppliers have a wide range of scooters and wheel chairs to choose from and we have learned that it is cheaper to purchase one then to continue renting them.

My wife is disabled and has trouble walking.  We rented one time (Special Needs at Sea) but then found that it worked so well that we purchased a Drive Scooter from Amazon for the same price as it would be to rent one about 3 times.  My wife loves having hers when we go on cruises or when we go to the various parks in Orlando with the grand kids.  She also uses it when we go shopping and it has become an integral part of our trip packing list.

We have had it for over 7 years now and except for a change of batteries about a year ago it has performed flawlessly.

As a last thought, may I suggest that you look at 4 wheel models instead of 3 wheel because of the better stability.

  8. We have been cruising since 2001 and my military OBC never shows up when I book a cruise.  I have called many numbers and tried talking to Jan's office in the past and have never been able to get it associated with my princess account.

Each time I make a reservation, even after telling everyone about the military OBC, it never shows up.  I simply call and tell whoever answers there normal line or email the customer service office to let them know that I need to have it included and within minutes it shows up.

    Good Luck.

  9. I go along with everyone else.

Just because it is not within the time frame stated, I would still send the request to the access department.

Whenever we arrive for embarkation, no one ever knows we submitted the request because they are not informed.  Bring the wheel chair so that you will not regret it.  They will not turn you away for having it.  The only reason you have to fill out the access form is so that the quest services knows that there is a handicapped person in a specific room in case of an emergency, and assistance is required.
