Sky Princess - Can you answer few questions about this ship?
famski740 replied to llarsen's topic in Princess Cruises
In regards to the Coffee Package. The package is great if you drink specialty coffees (cappuccino; expresso, caramel latte, etc.). You do not need to buy the Coffee Package just for the brewed coffee as the Horizon Court machines on this ship have brewed coffee. -
Send an email to: accessofficeprincess@princesscruises.com Include your name , sailing date, stateroom number and the fact that you need distilled water and extension cord for a cpap and they should have everything waiting for you when you arrive in your room. We have done this in the past. If not the Steward will be more then happy to assist you.

7-day Back-to-Back vs. 14-day Combined Questions
famski740 replied to Purple Gallinule's topic in Princess Cruises
As far as Military benefit. Check it out because I have done a couple of B2B and received the total $250.00 for the entire voyage and not just $100.00 both ways. Very important: Check with the Casino cashier the final night of the first cruise, as you must clear your casino account before the second cruise or you will loose the money. You will then have to set up a new account for the second cruise. -
It may be: Convenient parking facilities for our cruise passengers are: Well-illuminated Security-patrolled But just like any parking garage or hotel lot, any damages to your vehicle are not the responsibility of the garage owner. You accept full responsibility when you drive into the garage or lot. I learned this the hard way at a Hyatt near Detroit.

It is usually published in the Platter that the on board limit from casino room charges is $3,000 per day with a $21,000 maximum per cruise. Now this is from a 7 day cruise so the maximum my be different depending on length of cruise.

Arrival and departure from different piers at Port Everglades
famski740 replied to Samkitty1's topic in Princess Cruises
Have done this in the past. Arrived and dropped of wife and luggage at pier 21. Drove car back out to pier 2 and parked at their garage. Took cab back to pier 21 for $10.00. -
I have always had to call room service once I was in the cabin to have them bring the bottles to the room.

From what I understand (and I might be wrong) you have to have a cruise booked with Virgin in order to request a match.

We have always tipped the porter $10.00 for the two bags we drop off. When we used the wheel chair, we would tip $5.00 each for the in terminal assistance and for the gangway assistance. My wife now has her own scooter and the assistance inside the terminal and up the gangway is no longer required.

Regal cabin L107 - forward facing balcony - questions
famski740 replied to sallybrown2012's topic in Princess Cruises
We were in L108 for a b2b and it was a great room. Your layout will be just opposite of what we had(instead of left yours will be right. When you walk in there were a couple of closets along the left wall. The bathroom entrance was on the right; and your desk will be on the left beyond the closets. To the right past the bathroom entrance was a couch, table and television. The balcony doors were straight ahead. If you make a right and walk past the couch, you will enter the bedroom, there is a curtain between the two rooms if you want to use it. There is a large window which looks out the front of the ship, and an additional television. They will ask that at night you keep the curtains to the front window closed when the lights in the room are on because it interferes with the bridge view. I hope this helps you. -
Accessible Power Wheelchair or Electric Scooter
famski740 replied to Pioneer327's topic in Princess Cruises
We usually always book a mini-suite but have in the past stored them in a balcony cabin. In a balcony cabin it can be a little tight, but a mini-suite is just fine. -
Accessible Power Wheelchair or Electric Scooter
famski740 replied to Pioneer327's topic in Princess Cruises
According to motorized rides web site: The Price of Mobility Scooter Rentals Different shops will have different prices but they typically fall into the same range with good consistency. For a daily rental, mobility scooters can be rented for about $30 a day. For weekly rental, mobility scooters can be rented for about $125 per week. For a monthly rental, mobility scooters can be rented for about $300 a month. These prices will be determined by what kind of model you choose, how many accessories it has, whether or not it is considered heavy-duty, etc. -
Accessible Power Wheelchair or Electric Scooter
famski740 replied to Pioneer327's topic in Princess Cruises
I understand that those who need to fly to a port don't have many options, in fact when we where planning a trip to Alaska leaving from San Francisco, we were going to rent. We do not ask for or get HA (accessible cabins) when we cruise. We always get balcony or mini suites. With the width of the 4 wheel Driver Scooter being 19.5", my wife has no problem going in and out of the room.
