I thought it wasn't something you buy but if something went wrong sometimes the cruise gives you a future cruise

Certificate to use because of either something that went wrong onboard or some other situation.

Sailing there is a future cruise office where you can book your next one and usually get extra onboard credit or some advantage.

There was a 7/11 across from our Fort Lauderdale hotel and that was so great! I had snacks for the room and flight home.

Magic is 2k more (for two cabins) over freedom and Freedom is about 10 yrs younger than Magic so now not so sure extra money worth it for such an old ship?

Just booked deck 6 5C category. Cheapest veranda stateroom with no obstructed views. Has anyone had the navigator veranda? I like to be able to see the water or port from our room so I picked 5C but wondered how people felt about 7a.

Good thing we didn't prebook! We ended up doing luggage valet which I highly recommend and so my parents were able to take us to the airport since there was room without our luggage.

Seeing this after we returned. Yes the kids sail away with characters was at the aqua theatre after muster drill. Midweek they had a big parade/show with characters on deck 5 I think (whatever deck is the mall area with sorrentos) and a similar farewell parade in the same

Gosh you have been given great advice....I can go farther and say some things I wear 3 times...at night you only have things for a few hours and I don't mind wearing it a few times if it's not dirty by me spilling something on it....I mix things up so the outfits look different and if I need to i will wash clothes...ps. You shower at least twice a day right?

Why? Nobody cares what you look like or if you wear the same outfit for several days or more. Also, you won't see anyone on the ship ever again so if they do not like the way you look - who cares. Can I also assume that you probably have matching shoes for each outfit. Finally, if stuff does not match it makes no difference.

 

 

 

You need maybe 2 or 3 outfits and 3 pair of shoes and that should do it.

I would have been so miserable if I had only packed 2-3 outfits for a seven night cruise! :) I was happy with everything I brought considering we didn't do laundry I needed all of it.(and I still had to repeat Capri pants and some tops) We were really active by day and wanted to be fresh for night time so there was no way I could only pack a few things. I only brought one pair of flat flip flops that I could have left home but all the rest I wore.

Looking at Freedom of the seas June 2017 cruise to Italy and France. Since the days are long and mostly docked each day do they do more

Character events at night?

We just did one on Allure that I prebooked on the cruise planner. Prob was under activities but I forget. Not listed where the speciality dining is listed. My son loved it and the menu is cute and the service was outstanding!

Celebrity without kids. Royal with kids only other line I have sailed was NCL and it was my Least favorite in every single way.

11:59-12:59. Is that how late it really starts?

About to board, and sadly not the ship. The plane is ready for us. If all goes as planned we will be home by 5 pm.

We just had a crazy driver who didn't speak to us and it was dark out and we didn't even know if he was taking us the right way and drive crazy fast and almost hit someone. So that is why I asked but it's day time when we land so not worried now
