  1. Does the ocean seem colder then or is it about the same year round?
  2. How did you get around Rome and Florence? Did you see the Leaning Tower of Pisa?
  3. I'm thinking of Spencer, but not liking 4-5 hours at the beach if not much shade.
  4. what tour would you take to see the Pitons? I get sick easily but REALLY want to see the Pitons. I understand there's a beach there, but you get mobbed by locals.
  5. Why would they cancel shore excursions on Coco Cay but keep waterpark open? Did they offer a refund to those who didn't want to swim in crummy weather?
  6. Sorry to hear about the pirate ship on Coco Cay. I thought my grandkids might enjoy it. They don't like getting splashed at on splash pads
  7. Google out the La Quintas. One of them has a free shuttle to the hotel and port. It also has a free breakfast that's good. There isn't anything nearby, so eat at the airport before getting on the shuttle to go to the hotel.
  8. Hotel Milano - another hotel in Old San Juan - very close to the forts
  9. I've only done Majesty and then Adventure. I think it's good to go from small to a little bigger. Everything seems so big, not sure how I could jump to an Oasis. I also don't like the idea of reservations. Just read a review on Allure that said if you didn't have a reservation you didn't get in; no stand-by line. Also, it seems if you're on the bigger ships you need to pay for some app, so you know what's going on. I don't want to pay for that and I don't have a smart phone.
  10. I was on the re-positioning Adventure cruise post hurricane that ended in San Juan. I got up a little too late to see the fort, but someone reported it was lit up. I was really disappointed,
