Can I just add that you would be advised to tell the Mariner Club well before you go that you are entitled to the one star.

Otherwise they will probably not know. I advised them of my Princess past history and booking numbers and our status on Princess.

All very easy and straightforward.......but I do advise telling them well before you sail.

This is a fantastic place to learn about the ways of HAL!!

So many people know so much and I've learned so much already......only on today!! First time on Hal coming up.

Eg. I've Gold Princess and will write re Mariner. What is ROV please.

Also I'm looking at an Elite Drinks package.......does anyone have a wine list for the Oosterdam. The per glass limit is $15 so I'd like to see what the wines at $15 or under are like.

Can anyone help with this situation.

In April I booked a TA from FLL to Barcelona. A suite SA

No mention was made at that time of Explore 4.

I've been offered it now for about 1150 dollars per person.

Anyone know exactly what Explore 4 includes and would the extra be worth it.

Over to the many CC experts out there.

Hello to everyone.

I'm booked on the TA Fort Lauderdale to Barcelona in April 2018.

I've just seen Explore 4 advertised.

Help needed please.

1. It wasn't advertised when I booked in April.

2. I can't find out what it really includes....most google searches go back a few years not the current Explore 4

3. HAL offered me the Explore 4 at an increased cost of just over 1000 euros per person.

I'm sure someone on Cruise Critic can help me decide if the extra is worth paying. I', in an SA suite.

Thank you Darcy. We've been on Princess twice now and enjoyed it. In the Caribbean the Sanctuary is a must. Maybe less so in Northern climes.

We haven't decided which line to cruise with yet but your practical information is great.

We've been on a fair few cruises but not yet gone to the Fjords.

I know many members will have done that, so I'm asking for advice on where to book a balcony cabin. Port or Starboard?

I guess a rear suite would be great.....but come on....that's a lot of money to spend, so I'd welcome any advice.

Just to agree that the spa on the Epic is much larger and with more facilities than the Jade (which is a lovely ship).

We used the spa nearly every day of our week on board. Never crowded.

I booked on line in advance and that was a good bargain £176 I think for the week for 2 of us, not each!!!!

The lockers can be "locked" by using your own code. The attendants give every user a card with the locker number on and you make up your own code. Not sure how the same locker was allocated twice.

All in all the spa was a great way to get the day off to a great start.

Hi. All this chat about shuttles etc makes me think of getting to Barcelona airport.

I need to be at the airport by about 9.15.

Can anyone help with (1) what time we can get off the Epic. (2) are there taxis waiting near where the Epic docks.

Sorry to hear about troubles with booking for folk. I hope all gets sorted out. We are on board fromthe 17th April. If we do get booked......how long does the show last. I sympathise if dining had been arranged and time of show changed. That why I'd love to know how long the show lasts.
