JEWEL--category G cabins

I'm traveling with a group this June on Jewel's Baltic Capitals cruise. We'll be in the first 4 cabins in category G: 8050, 8052, 8054, and 8056. The first 3 are supposed to be completely unobstructed view, even though category G is supposed to be obstructed view. 8056, however, is supposed to be 100% obstructed. Has anyone stayed in these cabins before? If so, how's the view?

Thanks!

You think like me. Some of the "Obstructed View" cabins are barely obstructed at all. I booked 8054 for the Feb.1 9 day cruise out of Miami. This is barely obstructed. This photograph shows the Port side of the ship but of course 8054 is on Starboard side but it is right above where the most foreward 'lifeboat' (more of a Zodiac actually) is. You look right over the centre of that Zodiac. You see the crane device a little bit but that's it. One note though is that there is a small catwalk for crew to get the Zodiac and occasionally (once in 9 days) two guys were out there doing something. Of course one is always naked in one's cabin when that happens. :o

Book that cabin. It's a good one.

Great! :D 8054 is MY cabin! Anything else you can tell me about the room? Is it noisy (other than the catwalk issue)? Too close to the stairs/elevators? This is our first cruise on a ship this size, and we're trying to get our ducks in a row!

Appreciate this info on Jewel cabin 8056. We booked that one because the first three cabins on both sides were already booked. Relieved that there will be a view of SOMETHING!!

Anyone know if there is any view at all from cabin 8058 next door?
