Dolphin deck mini suite vs C753

We are on the Star Princess, we have seen the price drop, they are willing to upgrade us at no charge to a mini...we are in C753, back of ship, large balcony.

The only minis are on Dolphin deck, has anyone been on a Dolphin deck mini?

Roughly mid ship? D608- D618

Are there minis on the Dolphin that are covered or partially covered?

We sailed on the Sapphire on 2/11 and had mini suite D425 which was ewxactly mid-ship. The balconies are not covered but if you are midships, it is the smoothest ride you'll get. Also the room is larger, about 295 plus a 60 foot balcony. Take the mini suite. It also has a larger bathroom with a full size tub in it. Plus the complimentary champagne on embarcation day was a nice touch.

we did the upgrade and we are on Dolphin deck, I will watch for an Emerald deck opening, as this are covered balconies.

It was a free upgrade, so we will suely enjoy it!!

Thanks again
