Upgrade Bid Question?

I am sorry if the following questions have been asked, but I have looked and can't seem to find what I am looking for. If someone could help me out, that would be awesome.

#1. Where exactly is a person notified of the opportunity to place an upgrade bid?

#2. Does everyone get the opportunity to upgrade bid?

#3. Is it only people who book directly through NCL.com that get the offer? or is it also offered to people who book through TA's as well?

#1: email and MyNCL about the 80 day mark

#2 & #3: if you qualify for the bid then you will receive the invitation regardless if you booked through NCL or TA (some TAs opt out of the program thus meaning you are opted out). Here is the link to the program's T&Cs and bullet 3 states that the invitation is extended at the sole discretion of NCL so the qualifications can change.
